(useless auto's) get about 550 to 600k in the 20 year old M535i 3.5L manual done 480000km . and little bit less in the E34 535i manual . look forward to the other 535i that i will be doing up with hartge engine etc . its got a 90L + tank , should be able to get about 900km on a tank .

power built make kits of those stare sockets etc , from repco or ,most tool and engineering shops . will get back to you about the torque settings , i have a manual , buts its late and its in the garage . thanks for dropping off the gearbox . ps. what year and millage did the car it cam efrom have . cheers brent

i have a glove box button type but no lid for that type , do have a complete system from a 92 model that will swap over no problems , have done it before .i would want the seats for my coupe maybe around $200 to $500 depending on style . leather ones go for more .

have had my e34 535i drifting around sweeper at pukekohe just past the front straight . at about 140-150km/h then applying abs to pull it in for the twisty bits . loads of fun . e28 M535i is pretty wild too , a bit more sideways and rolly

yes my 535i , is very controllable in a slide , i was pushing mine around the hinpin at taupo making it go sideways every time i was flooring it and it would just straighten with out spinning around . lots of fun .

SOLD!! . funny thing happend , went to show the guy under the hood , just before he drove off and the bonnet cable lever snapped off as i was pulling it (doh!!) so gave him a new lever out of my collection . and sent him on his way .

EX UK import been in nz since about 1995 its grey with black leather recaro seats , lowewerd with good quality springs and shocks . is now fitted with motorsport steering wheel . fitted with 17" borbet (german made wheels) with 225 tyres . here is the catch . I will be pulling the Hartge 3.5L engine out to rebuild and fit to another car soon . but will offer it with a std 535i engine from a nz new 1989 535i with lower k's FSH etc . will still supply it with the manual gearbox etc . . or maybe i will fit the engine , that depends on the price thats negotiated . there will be no body kit on it . just std front and rear bumpers , no side skirts , and maybe will supply with different rear boot spolier . will have std stereo system , maybe I can fit cd etc depends on the deal . i am in no hurry to do any thing at the moment , but if you are interested , i can move things along a little . car is just sitting there , reg is on hold . has had a bit of money spent on it over the years , have had it for about 4years or so. call me 021433600 or 09-2997389
