Say 12k, then that would allow me to pimp or depimp. Generally any car i buy there is always more spent on personal touches.

Am in Auckland, dont mind buying from around country, would just t up someone else to look.

Seems like these are always sought after but i scouting for a M325i pref mtechII, not essential, pref black leather. Also any 4 door 325s, must be manual. Just after a very tidy and pampered example, dough is waiting, itching my pocket... Be handy having mint BBS deepdish on:) Quite like the look at the mtechI on trademe, silver one thats been on awhile in Auck, gonna have a look. Pm if you dont want world knowing

Is the Alpina LHD?

Yeah i do like the brown color, unusual. I have 2 kids so the 4dr is way more practical over the coupe. Gonna get my car ready to sell, have a work van so i can take my time replacing car. Wouldnt it be easier not to care about cars and be happy with a bog standard Japa. Cant change how your wired up tho:)

Owner said he lived on Waiheke Is for a few years and car was parked in outside carpark in auckland for the duration, all outside rubber looks stuffed, windscreen rubber seal brittle, cracked and warped. Every other piece or rubber looks awful. Front bumper has large crack near lower foglight where he clipped a low curb. Leather inside is grim, never been conditioned and the guy smokes in car. Under hood and boot lots of surface rust on all exposed bolts, all four gas struts are rusting. The elements have taken there toll. Bummer really. Would love a mint car, but not a yellow one. Now im entertaining getting a Wrx Sti as alternative, for less money you can get a much later year, superb condition and with alot around you can pick and choose how modified you want. Performance is pretty amazing, yep, i know has pros and cons.

I looked at that 4dr e36 M3 on trademe that was asking 27k last week and is now 22k. Has 72k on clock but is Uk import with 42miles on cluster is a one owner car so i was hoping condition would be pretty up there. What a letdown, very average condition for a relatively low km for year car. Anyone with a E36 M3 4dr in top nick for sale let me know please. Cheers

Have been doing some research on a brake upgrade for my E34 535is and seems like there are a few options, are the E34 540s for the fronts the best? Has anyone done this and what were your results. Also want to put a shortshifter kit in, whats the best to use?

Car has 129000 miles on it now. I like the front look, such an easy swap to do. Thats the good thing about this site you see peoples flair in the car mods they do, not all appeal to all tastes but beats leaving them standard in most cases. Car came with m badges on it and my previous 535is also had them. Gonna do brake upgrade next and a shortshifter.

Brought a front surround from Ray and painted it matt black, it works for me, very easy swap to put original back on. Enjoy the perving.

Just drove this tonight.....wasnt impressed with the car at all, exterior is ok, was originally grey and repainted black, average job, drivers door needs alignment, bonnet didnt close properly, body pretty good really. Interior is average, dash has screw holes from something previously mounted, gearknob is a joke, leather is ok, far from new. Trip computer stuffed and not in properly in. Once driving i was suprised at performance, ive got a e34 535is with a piggyback computer that does away with the airflow meter and my car does not have the pull of this thing top end but down low mine is way smoother and pulls stronger, mine handles better and this thing rattles and squeeks. Once i stopped it stunk of burnt oil. Would way rather have a 540is. Its rego says 525i. Dissapointed, thought it might be worthy of a change but alas, im still gonna have to wait for a 540is to come my way,

Had a good look at this car today and man its pretty rough. Car has had a shunt in the front, one guard is loose, bonnet is badly out of line and hinges and gas struts are poked. Other guard not aligned well with bolts missing. Bumper is not mounted properly with visible ripped plastic. Both spots missing. Paint is dull with lots of scratches. Engine bay filthy, all fluids black. Tappet cover leaking oil. Gearbox exterior is wet with oil, rear diff the same. Front rotors are poked, pads super low, rears ok. I started car and engine has a awful vibration, feels badly unbalanced, when car is revd it gets worse. Leather interior average, lots of trim damage, drivers seatbelt receiver has been replaced, off a different car, done rough as. Stereo is crap, not all speakers go. Wheels are all curbed and all have different tyres. Body is straight though, no dents. My 535is with 50k more on it is far superior condition. This car needs alot of time and dough thrown at it. My 2 cents worth reckons its a dog.

Rims are 17s by 8s all round. Apex 40mm lowering springs but found wasnt low enough so had snells lower them another 25mm. Brand new Bilsteins in and had to have the fronts shortened to keep springs captive, p zero neros all round and the car handles brilliant.
