So i got offered diversion and took it. I couldnt be arsed with the rigmarole of multiple court appearances, and paying for a lawyer. On the bright side i got to watch this smoking hot lawyers ass for a good 3 hours.

Nah he got taken in aswell for the same charges. Seems we got caught on security camera.

Ok heres the story. I got really really really reaaaally drunk at the birdcage on thursday night and ended up walking with my mate up neilson st. The last thing i can remember is walking. The next thing i know is a policeman is shining a torch in my face and i am lying in a bush about 4m below the walkway on the road. I managed to climb up again and i was cuffed and charged with "Unlawfully being on Property". I spent 3 hours in central jail (3.30am-6.30am) and now have to turn up tomorrow morning at the district court to face the charges laid against me. Anyone else had any similar events happen to them? If you dont hear from me in the next few months im probably getting bummed in Mt Eden prison

Well that answers that one then. Are there any other racks out there that dont do this? Atm it looks like im "downgrading" to a manual e30 rack. Fair point but im sure theres got to be other ways out there of fashioning that spacer, as it seems to me that spending $110 on a stick of plastic is a bit too much considering the rack costs $100. When i say minimize i mean reduce cost and effort to a safe point. With your reasoning maximize would have you making the spacer out of solid gold.

Atm theres not much room between the headers and the steering coupling on my car. Did you notice if the steering coupling had moved towards the engine after replacement? Or did it pretty much stay as is? Also what is the point of the polyurethane? What else can be used to minimise expense/effort? I'll definitely be tackling this in the next week as my current rack is starting to really kick up a fuss.

I kinda destroyed my last filter when installing my headers and i think im leaking oil from it. Will a m40 filter work fine? I want to use the smaller filter so i can clear the manifold. On another note. Is it simple to mount the filter facing downwards as this would allow me to continue with an m20 filter. To glenn: how much will a filter cost + a top up on oil? - wana get it sorted quickly

Iv used the fuchs brand from BNT a few times now, and runs great. I prefer it to castrol, but dont ask me why. Use fram filter aswell. If you play your cards right u might get a good deal too.

Try using three nuts on the stud and tightening the first two together then use the innermost one to unscrew stud. Thats how i got a few difficult ones out on mine. Ive also been using a crc white lithium product more recently and that seems to work better than the crc stuff.

The basket weaves should fit as long as they're 4 lug with a pcd of 100mm (distance from center of opposite bolt holes). Wats your budget on the tires?
