I Have the 5th wheel from this set if the buyer wants a full set. Needs to be refurbished. iirc, it's 8" wide. can confirm later though.

Good price but f@#k me, what is there to like about that interior..... seriously???
Absolutely LOVE the interior on that thing. And if they can be had for as little as 18k these days, maybe i will just keep saving for a few months more!

Hate to say this, but I've seen many BMW/Mercedes with this kind of mileage, yet I've never seen any petrol Japanese car with that kind of mileage on the clock, looks in good nick, 15kAUD tho? Nope.
Had a 1990 ford Laser with 510,000 clicks on the clock. Paint was knackered, interior was average, but it went like a new one. Was still the original engine too.

Price is entirely reasonable, IMO. Its an oldschool rwd in fantastic condition and Will only appreciate in value. Unless it gets molested.

+1 for genuine.
If you do go aftermarket, go panel filter only. The 540 already has a very good cold air setup, and moving to a pod style only hurts economy and power. Though the v8 induction sound is great with a pod.
Wash/oil K&N when its visibly dirty? Not sure. Oil based filters can coat your MAF/Airflow meter with oil which can cause issues that CRC MAF cleaner may, or may not be able to solve.

Hah, yeah. I saw that.

Autosol works wonders on polycarb headlights.

Enjoy Matt, You got yourself a good car

Nothing less than Style 5's, Schnitzer's and M-Pars. And they must be staggered. Anything else isn't fair to the E34 shape.
-
^^^^^^^^YEP
And certainly pre-swap, it was the best E34 i had driven/owned.
-
Yeah, nice car.
Not sure I'd pay that for it though. Lacking Leather and whats with the cannon?

This makes me sick to my stomach. Do the Iranians have no soul??

My old car. Best riding E34 I've owned or driven.

How much of a job to replace rocker cover gaskets, engine out or lifted?
Nah. can be done engine in car. Not alot harder than changing the plugs. Some people do like to unbolt the mounts and jack the motor, but its not necessary.
Cambelts are easy as f**k. Everything is right there at the front of the engine so no drama. Pays to do waterpump etc at the same time, complete kit (belts, idlers, tensioners, waterpump etc)is in the region of $800 from memory.

STi's sh*t all over a standard wrx in every facet. Much like ///M is to BMW. just like BMW, they love regular servicing. every 10k would be acceptable, better if you do a quick oil change at the 5k mark inbetween.
most reliable cars i have ever owned have been subarus. rocker cover seals and front+rear main seals last about 100k. when these go, they like to drip oil on the exhaust manifold.
at 150k it would benefit from some love in the bush dept, and the shocks would respond well to a regreasing if they havent been done already (L/R often has a mild knock which usually indicates time to regrease)
Fun cars to own.

IMO, you should get a Manual as your first car. Will help you learn car control and encourage you to be more involved when driving. This will aid your cognitive development as a driver which imo is essential.

Love Black BMW's, but that Lime Green above is HAWT!
If ALL you have is the coin for wrapping - then forget it. If you have the coin for wrapping and general maintenence then go for it!
I'd get new wheels at the same time. Just to pull off the look properly.
The other bonus about a wrap is that it will protect your paint from stonechips etc. Bonus!

This one has been 'the bosse's ex drive car' for 3+ years, very low k's, but has always been over priced.
