cheers hybrid that was what i was looking for, now i have something to go by. Bang on height too imo.. any idea how much of a drop from factory?
-
Thanks i probably wont go that low because i still need to use car as daily. I was looking at one of your wheels on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=360846177 i was thinking of running a 15mm spacer at the back, rolling guards and dropping it where its just tucking a bit of the tyre. do you think that will work/ look good? Haha just wanting to do something a bit different, sick of seeing the same old thing in nz.
-
Dont mind using spacers, but still need a rough estimate of wheel size that i can use with spacers. 18 x 8, 30ish offset allgood?

Hey guys been a while but just got an e46 320i for a daily. I wouldn't mind some 17's or 18's for it. Have been away from the bmw scene for ages so please excuse my noobness. I am after wheels that will be flush with gaurds. Has anyone done this or know what specs i need... like offset and width. All the wheels on trademe seem to be x8 with 30ish offset.... my guess would be these wheels would sit inside the guard to much? want to do something like this: thanks in advance.

stylish_division replied to stylish_division's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
yeah! Also cant turn it with the car off. -
e36 318is has steering wheel permantly locked(car was purchased this way). Doesnt turn with car started. Anyone know what it could be? I was told its a common problem but couldnt find anything with search. Its worth mentioning that the key is incredibly hard to turn.. Ignition barrel fault rather than steering components? cheers! Its been a while since ive worked on bimmers

after 1 or more 215 40 18 inch tyre. after second hand, decent tread, camber wear is fine. anyone got anything? cheers
-
like it better with the black plates. still hot none the less
-
seeing if anyone can make use of this. auto gearbox out of my 98 318is. done about 120,000ks at the time. Most likely fuxored as wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th, just went into 1, 2 and revved high and back into 2. German version...twin sump? When it was taken it, there was hardly any transmission fluid in it and mechanic said there was a chance it still might be ok....but i had another gearbox so just went with that. has been sitting around for a while, any offers?

trademe, their t10 leds which i wired in. i bought them a long time ago but i dont think the seller sells them anymore. They were like flat head leds. usual ones on trademe are normal round bulbs on trademe and arent bright at all. You paid $19 for one bulb?? i think my bright ones were something like $4 each
-
cheers for link. wallpapers sorted for a year
-
mint. perfect offset and height.
-
May as well post this here, $8500 Linky
-
mean. white bimmers are hot. nice rims too, look gunmetal or is it black?
-
^ good thread. i changed my interior roof lights to blue led. trademe used to sell 180 degree leds(t10) but havnt seen any recently. The normal leds aren't bright enough.
