Just measured 60mm at the sump also. Will be grabbing a sump guard shortly. I need to go lower in the back IMO.

I've got 60mm clearance at the front lip to ground.

Depends on the model SR. S13 SR's are super cheap comparied to their S15 counterparts. To give you an idea my last SR (engine and box) was $3200, 88'000kms, from a facelift S14. Ps, its not an SR

Sure dude no prob! I'll start with the top photo. F-stop: f/5.6 Exposure: 1/50 sec. ISO 800 Focal length: 200mm White balance: auto No flash Photoshop CS3 editing: Sharpening White balance adjustment via the levels channel (was minimal) Colour adjustment where applicable via the curves channel (adjusted red, green & blue individually) F-stop: f/3.5 Exposure: 1/6 sec. ISO 800 Focal length: 18mm White balance: auto No flash Photoshop CS3 editing: Sharpening White balance adjustment via the levels channel. Exposure correction (top left of the shot was blown out) so I created a new layer with a diagonal black gradient (darker in the top left getting lighter towards the middle) and layered this on top. Adjusted opacity to suit (my ghetto way of band aid fixing crappy exposures, works okay) Colour adjustment where applicable via the curves channel (adjusted red, green & blue individually) The one of my car is hardly very good, still parts of the shot are blown out, and it would be cooler with less DOF. But I was shooting handheld in a garage with lots of light leaking in. That and it was only a quick snap or two. Remember you can generally always save peoples shots to your desktop, right click them and go "details" This should usually have the details that the photographer used for the shot. Hope that helps! Cheers dude, yeah as mentioned have had lots going on. Its definately far from over. E36 rack, is next on the agenda!

Stock for stock it looks like a good idea. However if your looking to make some power later down the track you'd be kicking yourself for not going SR (sorry euro crew!) I picked my Blacktop S14 SR20DET + Box, loom, ECU up for $3000 nzd. Had 89'000kms on it and ran perfectly. You can make 220rwkw (or near on 300hp atw in the old money) with supporting mods from the stock engine & turbo setup. Its so easy, super reliable and there is so much aftermarket support for the SR its crazy.. IMO i'd see it as save a little longer, spend another $500 and have the ability to bust some simple upgrades and make some good power. Hell you could even look at red top S13 SR20DETS's which are cheaper than the S14/5 variations. Add an EBC, FMIC, fuel pump, intake, exhaust and blah later down the track. Similar power stock compaired to the 3SGE S14 SR20DET - 162 kW (217 hp) @ 6000 rpm Guess it depends if you want to stay NA too.. Oh I love the options!!

Might as well add this too! Twas the end of the night.. With only 3 warriors left standing, a challange was set forth... NZ vs UK vs USA Never fear.. I represented the motherland!
