  2. Yo - text my mate Mark. 0211156461 Say your Matt's mate and that your interested in his 4 door shell. You should be able to work something out no doubt. Cheers, Matt
  3. Sure did bro! Saw a E30 M3 in Monterey. Managed to snap a horrible picture too Lots of Corvettes in the states
  4. Hey Blair! - No harness, no rope haha.. I've got better angles of it at home, totally epic looking straight down with nothing holding you but yourself! Hi Simon - I spent a month crossing the states from LA to NY. Went too heeeeeaaps of places. LA, Monterey, Santa Barbra, San Francisco, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone, Jackson, Badlands, South Dekota, Minnesota, Chichago, Ohio, Niagara falls, Finger lakes, Conneticuit, New York + more that im probably forgetting!
  5. Bimmersports most beater E30 is back! I have been to America and I have seen… The land of the free! Or should i say the land of the chicken sandwich, the crappy hand dryer, the illiterate local, the overweight land mammal, the LA bible bashing homeless person, the Chicago street thug, the corn palace, the PED Xing, the insane-scare-myself-shitless-rollercoaster-park, the Bubba Gump Shrimp food chain, the New York mystery meat food stores, the yellow taxi cab NASCAR title holding Mozart listening stock car champion, and soooo much more Or put simply..The American! Heres a quick photo of your's truely, kicking it new school at the top of the half dome at Yosemite national park. 25km's, 8'800ft above sea level. Half dome - Shamelessly jacked from Wiki - Because my 8GB of photos are at home http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...2_bg_090404.jpg
  6. Wow no way! I climbed the half dome there just over 3 weeks ago! Tahoe too... niiice. Must be getting cold now
  7. Hey bud, please see the first post.
  8. 60/40 Good quality kit. Sits nicely. No dramas with driveways etc. Rough cellphone image: If your interested you (or anyone else for that matter) are welcome to pop round and check things out.
  9. Haha indeed. I've spent a fair wack of my time (and money for that matter!) in the states recently. Silly me - Interior is for a 4-door!
  10. Good afternoon BS! Just got back from Americaland and I may be changing tact with my build pending interest in the below parts.. Heh Just an EOI at this stage on these E30 bits: Offers OVER Full black leather interior - Good condition recaros, doorcars etc. Passenger side seat is wobbly but shouldnt be a problem to fix. Usual drivers side scuffing and wear. $600 OBC - Would benefit from a new bulb. $80 Cruise control - Works well . Forget your feet.. Live in luxury. $200 H&R Shocks & springs - These would include brand new tophats already installed. (Less than 2000km's on everything) Swap em' in and go, rides legal and perfectly for a daily - Firm but not bouncy, low but not Mexican low. $900 I'm flexible with timeframes and if people have things they want to swap I'm interested in coilovers, bucketseats, seat rails, harnesses, turbo bits and bobs Will swing a deal if someone takes it all. Money talks. Disco isn't dead. Thanks!
  11. The way I did the one's on my last cars was: 1) Remove bolts & clips where possible. 2) Attack with your spirits of choice where possible. 3) Higher tensile fishing line wound around bits of wood (or if you've got some good gloves) 4) Aggression /Edit - Oops looks like someone already beat me to the fishing wire trick.
  12. Dammit dude. Please just buy something *headagainstwall*
  13. IMO I'd run Urethane's for the engine and box and alloy subframe lock collars for the rear subframe.. /Edit - If you wanna go DIY, I've seen a few articles on making your own Urethane mounts which could be worth a read. Will see if I can dig one up for ya. - Something like this: http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=215490
  14. Happy Birthday mate!
  15. Omori. Clean looking, wicked quality, easy to read on the track and in tough lighting conditions. If your dead set on a getting a speedo get one from Stack. Please. You will rule the world if you do. http://www.stackltd.com/tacho1.html
  16. Looking good dude. I actually quite like the tech1 wings.
  17. Jammed the rear bumper on. Then took the worst photo imaginable. Just thought I'd share Also, can someone help me with what ratio my diff is? I snapped a pic of what looks like a part number and gear details before we bolted it back in. Thanks, Matt
  18. Bugger, thanks anyway bud! Yeah had a feeling it could be the spacers.. Will give it to my mate and see if he can make it any better. It's not super bad, just vaugely present at 100km/hr. Definately keen.. Took it for a beat down the other night actually; I've changed my mind and decided it drives rather average. Its not progressive at all when it lets go. Although I suppose it is supposed to be a sensible car for me, and it is probably a good thing having a fair wack of rear grip because anyone can drive it. Sensible is kind of boring though. I guess at least it will look pretty!
  19. Hey mate, Just the inner rubber boot and the outer finisher boot. I know I can buy the outer from the likes of Ebay. I would be pretty happy with just the inner one initally because then my car wouldnt smell like exhaust gas. And exhaust gas makes me sleepy..
  20. I love WR. He's just covered Formula D recently and as always has some stunnnnnnnnning work. My favourite video of his is ASB V. Theres actually a new guy shooting some awesome stuff at the moment too. I'll see if I can find you a link. /Edit: Joshua Herron is the new guy on the block. I think he's doing stuff for speedhunters too. Check out WR's coverage of ASB V - HD is a must. om nom nom.. so good!
  21. Hey mate - Still sorting out the kit before painting sadly.. But some good news! I just picked up some tech2 sides, rear bumper, 4 door pods, euro plate surround and some final interior bits! This means I can finally hide the dents that I can't beat out and then spray the damn thing. It's going to be a mutant IS front lip + tech2 sides and rear. Hahaha.. haters hate away. I think I'm going to make the twin pipes longer. Also; I need to get the front wheels balenced, some new rear tyres, gear shifter trim (lol still), and an alarm at some stage. And I wish I didn't have an Everest of a driveway so I could go lower.. Might also get a euro plate like all the cool kids. Thats all for now. No pics, maybe in the weekend /Edit. On another note. You need to check out Andy Sapps E46. For real. Videos - You need this in your life http://andysapp.com/
  22. Heres an old one of my cat in front of my last hack. My cats awesome. He is not impressed
  23. Looks good dude. Front fits sweet. Have you had a go with a hammer in the rear? May have to tubb the rear if you want to go low (which you should ) PS - How low does the m50 sump sit? /Edit, I guess you could lathe down the rear spacers 5mm but thats not really the problem eh. Top the the tyre banging the crap out of inside of the wheel well is the main drama.
  24. God I can hear them from here.. Meat hammers and all... Haha
  25. Haha you guys are awesome.90% of the "omgIwantsosexy" E30's I've seen posted on here run low and run stretch. You see an E30 on BBS rims with euro plates and your unloading one on the keyboard... Then as soon as someone says stretch its bring on the hate-train!?Loco! I am the greatest! Eagerly awaiting reponse. Put your happy-tissues down first boysÂ
