There are quite a few m60s around...A couple of real nice ones tooAn m62 would be super cool In my opinion,from a performance point of view,doing a v12 is pointless

Just to cut thro the crap:: AS has been previously noted by Andy & Glenn....forget a 2.7...too much hassle for not that much result. Research & build a 2.8 stroker..plenty of guys here to give u good advice. Expect it to cost you $3k minimum if you intend it to last lol.

^^^^^ one of the members had a complete m62 for sale here recently...at a good price too m60 would be a much simpler & cheaper option for an e36 tho

The boys are pretty much on the money.....if youre not wanting to go 540 then the latest model 530 you can afford is definitely the way to go. I wouldnt agree that the 540 is more expensive to maintain or run however..just my 2c

i use 95 or 98 in mine but tbh notice no difference....yep 91 is fine according to the factory..must try it next fill
