Prestige, maybe not but some of the prices being asked for 8 -10 year old vehicles is mad ie one had a starting price of 15,000 the add expired and came back on with an increase of $2,000. and a buy price of 17,990, vehicle concerned 2002 325, not only confined to trade me . Would you pay 13,000, 15,000 for a 10 year old vehicle in average condition?. The price stated is not always what one will end up paying granted but to place those prices in the first place imo is nothing short of out right greed. As for the later models have heard they have a huge depreciation about 45%, not sure if that is correct but with that in mind what do you think a three year old vehicle would/should cost Depends if it was a 2002 325 motorsport or not. I had been looking for months on trademe and was considering paying 16k for a 325i motorsport e46, but instead got a better deal on a msport wagon, but there are ALOT of them over the country wanting like 20k+ rediculous. But i kind of do feel sorry for some of the car salesman, they are importing cars that we think are too expensive, then the only way to sell it is to lower the price so they probably make $500 if that on the car.

Last time they had a cruise to Mt Maunganui, and some dude wrote off his brand new R34 skyline he paid 20k plus for. Ha Ha Haaaaa

Sending in the 840 for the show this weekend! Keep an eye out

Also went and had a look, looks so much better in person, photos don't do justice. I would like to know what colour schemes etc it comes out with, Surely it wont be just white and blue? Will be interesting to say the least. Will probably be able to custom code it as a factory option maybe?

Seen the art cars on display in Takapuna? Jerry Clayton? (Forgot what dealership is in Takapuna haha)
-
And i just realised it had to be a supercar as there aint any like this in the world.
-
Is it supposed to be a supercar? I had the impression it was just the first of an electric car for BMW?
-
Yes i agree with what your saying, all im saying is the car here isn't the car in the photo, i have already seen the car and the rear arches are flared, but not as much as the picture posted, as the one here is a '73 like you said.
-
Picture of the actual car, just got taken out of BMW warehouse yesterday. Doesn't have the rear flared guards like the picture above
-
Oh and BTW, that isn't the 3l CSL, thats the E21 because the 3 litre CSL didn't have the flared guards at the rare, been in NZ for months!

Thought it purred like a kitten.. Perhaps not?

Even if you don't get your money back, think about the positives. You have only lost a few hundered (if that) compared to 8 grand plus. Plus you have learnt something along the way! -
Will definately be going, that things insane!

Looking at lowering the wagon but im stuck on what i should do, alot of people suggest compressing the springs etc etc but im not too keen on that idea, others say spend 1grand+ for some adjusties which is fine money isn't the issue, the issue is that its already lowered on M Sport suspension so probably pointless taking it out replacing it with adjusties? Also went to a spring shop and they said the springs they make would lower the front around 40mm and the rear 10-15mm. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Pics of the car

A 3cylinder Diesel faster than an M3. I might pop in to have a quick look!
-
Possibly, but now that Roger Waters and David Gilmore are now buddies again after so many years of hating each other, who knows, maybe a new album will come out with them two geniuses behind it!
-
Just get unpaid leave worth it... Just kidding, but surely it would have stacked up for you by feb?

Just bought mine

Been to the experience 6 times and also went to see him when he played over the shore in 07, definately worth the 350 odd dollars to see it. Experience of a lifetime! So will definately be there!!

Pretty sure i saw the lotus around town the other night. Obviously a bit scared to curb the wheels?
-
+1 Euro Plates fill out the front and rear of the car perfectly seeing its such a wide car!
-
Definately wouldn't get one, i reckon it looks mint, gives it a touch of evil, but like you said, everyone has their own personal tastes, if not the world wouldn't be the same. Just looks like an aftermarket hood that you can buy in one piece, wouldn't of thought you could weld btis of metal on to it, if they did it must of been a bloody good job!
-
What the....... Wonder if it sounds any good with all the speakers etc.. probably not because the speakers are also outside the car. Only one guess who would of made a car like that!
-
Oh yeah the grills are easy enough, but ive seen more than a dozen of cars overseas with this bonnet and wondered where/who/how you get it. Doesn't look like an attatchment to me but probably wrong. Yeah that front splitter looks awesome, maybe an addition someday down the track..
