    E36 M3 Project

    #weightreduction
  3. ^almost straight fit but the rear bolt holes need to be "ovaled" slightly then it will slot in. also wiring isnt quite the same so needs a bit of work but otherwise it does fit fairly easy!

    M TOY M3

i kind of prefer the 219's for some strange reason..
  6. has anyone gone to check this out or know any more information on it? would be interesting to see how much it goes for. could be an amazing buy or could be real lemon given how long its been sitting idle
  7. well done. definitely a good deal if you intend to keep it! keep us updated on progress
  8. the part i used was one piece unlike the one in the video. the two sides and the top length was all connected and didnt have that sticky tape part either. i dont know. you can take a look at the next meet dave

    E30 on Air

Amazing! So much low.. And great photos too daniel! I know who to contact next for photoshoots
  10. Haha its not as bad as it looks in the photos. Dont have a bentley manual And the boxes in the back are unrelated to the car. I wish they were exhausts but thats not gonna happen until I sort out all the maintenance stuff first! Really stoked with the car, drives really nicely - totally different to the e46 but not in a bad way. Definitely a great cruiser/daily
  11. That corner bit right? Its definitely on correctly as far as i could tell. It has a weird piece coming down from where the roof rail area is so the rubber isnt exactly linear? Parallel? But yea. I dont have much to compare it to since the old seal was practically non existent haha.. either way its heaps better than before. Best $60 spent on the car so far!

    M TOY M3

I like it alot. Reminiscent of the original 18" staggered m3 wheels but definitely has a newer feel to it.
  13. at those prices you've quoted, there is no reason to not go for the bridgestone re003's.
  14. check out my thread in the projects section. shows my car with fresh 35% tints. not too dark even though my car is black.
  15. should have just bought brents blue 540...
  16. I think it needs quad tips but hey, cant have everything right?
  17. did you DIY or take it somewhere? the worksmanship looks spot on!
  18. some more pics to show that tints really to make a huge difference to the cars overall look
  19. how much did it cost for the 3m interior trim wrap?
  20. Average spec e46 sedan non motorsport with worn grey leather interior. After new secondhand engine and new cooling system (budget 3-4k?) Plus cost of car 2k it will probably owe you close to 6k. I dont think its worth any more than 7-8k despite being a manual because it doesnt tick any other boxes. Its too decent and expensive to buy for the manual box, and also a bit too expensive to fix up and flick off for profit. Id say its one you would buy for a project and keep or track car etc but not reall a worth while investment unless you can get parts cheap and do everything low cost.
  21. Amazing how much difference the new windscreen rubber seal makes to the appearance of the car!
  22. how the hell did you manage to get it right? lucky guess?
