I think you missed the salient point of my post. If you're not at fault, and you can prove this, then you'll absolutely prevail at the Disputes Tribunal.
File for $150, submit evidence, win.
I'm probably just thick... but I never have any idea what argument you are trying to make or the basis it is built upon.
You started off with a brash assumption (other party denied liability and Amber's insurance company accepted that) and have built up on that sandy foundation.
Are you a legal expert?
Have you been in this situation with the disputes tribunal before?
You definitely don't know the ins and outs of what is going on between the various parties so even if the answer to those first two questions is YES, your conviction in your own BS is unjustified.

In the eighties it was ban the diesels they are causing acid rain, then it was ban lead in petrol because it is damaging our brains.
Now ? ban the most fuel efficient low polluting cars so we can continue with a fleet of shitty old diesel trucks and other large polluters.
The acid rain has gone and so has the lead in the petrol, now we only have the brain damaged left or should that be 'right'.
.
are you implying lead is harmless?

Spotted in Singapore. So you know it cost a packet to register there.
AC schnitzer M6 Grand Coupe.

LOL
that hairdresser engine that's stock is holding 850+RWHP while that "M" engine needs the internals upgraded to hold the SS power which is significantly lower
to me the last true M engines are the E46 , E60 - skip past the e9x platform and now the F series
you realise the s65 (m3 v8) is the same engine as the s85 (m5 v10) minus two cylinders
so if the e60 m5 counts, the e9x m3 definitely does too

Put very simply, cost. They cannot produce a car in Aussie, and ship it around the world to sell at a competitive price and still make money.
Whole list of reasons why, from the costs of production in Aussie, the exchange rates, declining "large car" markets, strength of competitors, etc.
When I first arrived in NZ I had a couple of Falcons as company cars, and realistically, on a global scale they were nowhere near the mark. I haven't driven the latest version, but it would need to have come on in leaps and bounds.
I can't speak for overseas, but the new XR8 (335kw, 570nm) for $70k in New Zealand is great value in my book.

I can't see the point personally. Why not buy an e92 m3?.. Which would look way better.
Also Matt Farah is a terrible motor journalist.

Knobhead cyclist of the day goes to this guy
How blaze do you need to be to leave $14k resting up against a car? I hope he doesn't get the bike back... just to teach him a lesson. If insurance pays out it will be an even bigger joke

Try and find a good example, or, a cheap one and spend some money on it. Learn to ride it fast and you wont regret. I think I could do the coro loop or rimutakas quicker on my old CBR250 than a thou. Awesome bikes those. Dont f**k around with those modern sh*t sounding 250 twins Hyofag/Ninja etc.
Are the 400s lams approved... CBR/RVF/VFR?
That was my thinking too. I rode a 250 bandit (4cyl, 16k RPM, 45hp etc) on the weekend. To be honest I didn't enjoy the lack of torque at all. I've ridden mainly singles in the past so have a different reference point for low RPM handling. Even my 150cc 2 stroke felt torquey relative to the bandit!
I have since started looking at the twins (Ducati, Honda VFR etc). Sure they dont sound as good but for city traffic the ease of torque is very attractive. Or maybe I just need to get used to the idea of revving the crap out of whatever I do buy.
If the maintenance wasnt so onerous i'd go a KTM 525exc motard with a loud exhaust. mmmmm
Would never buy a ninja/hyoshit or cbr300!

Personally I'd go for timing gears, the old Honda CBR250s will do over 100,000km no worries, while the ZXR/FZR timing chains will start to rattle around 30,000km.
Im in the market for a lams bike so found this very interesting. Too bad those old jap bikes are so flogged in other areas (forks, bearings, electrics etc). Seems like the engines can take it at least.

If you earn more than $36k USD p.a. you are in the 1% (globally).

How are we 13 posts deep with no mention of the e60 m5!?!

Yeah I agree man. Nothing worse than having some muppet (Girl or Guy) forcing their way into a convo when they know nothing of the topic. I know few people like this. A few BMW related people too. They always tend to name drop people of no relevance.
Oh god this is endemic in my office with the cricket at the moment

I can't imagine Clarkson landing any heavy blows. More likely a little pushing and name calling - tall people like doing that... Most men would just blow it off. From what I have read Clarkson dobbed himself in and apologised to the Producer.
On a side note I worked for a small software firm in the 90's under a scottish lady who was famous for decking the sys admin after an argument. Didn't seem to affect her career...
*pushes MD13 and calls him a mean name*

$700 takes it minus stereo bits

You can get sharp edges on brake pads - gently run a file over them to remove any burrs/excess.
Cheap shitty pads can be noisy
Quick rant thread.
