You could buy mine.... run staggered, 15X7 fronts and 16X7.5 rears.... i'm sure it'd give you the mean grip you need in a RWD Plus i need to get rid of them so i can get some damned 15X7s lol
-
you're missing the fact that they are actually worth something in the first place, which makes them an asset.... but they are an asset with mega high expenses on them.... and mega high depreciation....
-
Having lived overseas i would have to say thats a damn good idea. The grass is not greener on the otherside, in fact the only thing greener elsewhere is your wallet... but i'd rather be poor and have a life than be rich and Australian! no offense intended to any aussies, but i'm sure you understand
-
Bulk repayments on student loans may incur interest... they put that clause in just to try and stop you doing whhat you plan, so if you do go overseas and pay it off all at once it may not be interest free for you
-
There's your good advice right there, thats what i did... working at Supercheap Auto and getting staff discount is probably the main thing that helped me get my car all sorted while studying at the same time. Plus if u worked in fashion you'd always know what the new styles were etc. like how i knew about all the new sounds and car products
-
I would definitely recommend working for it if u can, student loans suck lol.... finished my course with $11k in debt. Definitely no need to be too flashy in hamilton, i was there last year and anything decent will make you look a million times better than most people there. But i would also recommend allowing heaps in your budget for nights on the town, because during uni terms tow in hamilton goes off! If i didn't insist on building a racecar last yar i would have come out of my course with only course fees for debt, and i wasn't even working long hours, or hard work lol.
-
I would say i'll let you drive mine, but i doubt that would ever happen
-
I'm alright ae... kinda got someone else to do most the stuff on my cage, when u see it you'll see why lol... i welded up my exhaust patchn a hole, but its pretty damn rough...
-
sweet as... think iv got work all weekend tho... othawise i'd offer to help
-
I will, when? now? haven't driven it for a while, gettn used to my new car Lucky the heatgun works, once the sound deadenings been soaked the heat gun makes it stick worse... Mine took three of us a couple of hours with chisels and scrapers..
-
Looks like fun stuff, that sound deadening is a mission when its been soaked(my roof leaked ) That diff mount looks pretty snazzy, i myt have to get myself one of them, my current one is completely shot... Hurry up and get it legal! lol
-
Major setback, turns out half of the 15X7 wheels i bought are 16X7.5.... so don't really work with race series tyres
-
Nothing wrong with drums lol.... they lock up reaal nice
-
Nope, haven't sorted out tyres yet... i don't know about the drums... i may upgrade to discs but i'm not sure if it's worth it just yet....
-
Got my new wheels just in time for christmas, decided to test fit while i swapped out the bolt holding my diff on. Nice brand new and shiny
-
I removed my headlining, but i had to to get rid of the sunroof.... wasn't too much of a mission, just use a real sharp knife
-
Big dramas on saturday, went to go get my dinner and i hear a loud "clunk" from the back of the car, pull over and have a look and the diff is hanging down 2 inches off the ground.... nursed it home, jacked it up onto stands and it turns out the nut had come of the diff mounting bolt. Searched around the garage at home, and i finally found a nut that would fit. So now my diff is held on with a wheelnut from a ford telstar lol, better swap that out ASAP.

Yep its a well known fact that your average 1989 corolla will drive until it rusts out.... then the engine will keep running... but what a boring car... i'll have my 320 anyday
-
Yeah, credit to you guys it was in top condition, and the rust work turned out to be pretty cheap since i did it myself. Lol paint now needs a major tidy up... considering a respray, maybe blue? And i definitely noticed the lack of dents on the car. It was a bit of a shame to do this to it tho because it was such a nice car to start off with it.... i feel like i've murdered the poor e30
-
thats a pretty decent looking seat... lol i think mine are designed for people a bit shorter than me, it gave me a real sore back on the trip to opanake for christmas.... but then most seats do when ur in them that long ae
-
Go to Supercheap and get it ordered in... don't know the part number, but its the dearer of the two listed for an e30, and comes from BC Direct or something... or u could try contacting them directly... but supercheap is waaay easier
-
Still looking for an e30 boss kit, cos supercheap can order them in..... i think they r $95 plus p&p. They have two options, but u have to go for the dearer one, bcos their other supplier hasn't stocked them for over two years! But thats where i got mine from, for a reasonable price (staff discount lol )

Most people seem to get confused in these situations because the majority of sideraods have giveway or stop signs. So car A assumes that Car B has to give way even if there is no give way sign. The problem is pure and simple, ignorance and arrogance.

Looks tidy, and nice price.... shame ur so far away
