If i actually bought cars expensive enough for a dealer to bother with, i wouldn't buy them any other way. I just don't trust trademe anymore, and i like the way if you want to look at a car, it will be at their yard available for viewing 9-5, monday to friday (saturday and sunday even at most places!) I definitely have respect for them, i looked at trying out a career like this but decided i care too much about what people think to work in such an untrusted industry... and my parents said i was too smart to just sell stuff...

Yeah, i have heard that one... at the moment i am looking into sorting out new ducting for the factory box and putting it back in, as i have a k&n filter for that... it needs a good clean first tho. The only issue i have is that i'm so used to the BOV sound now i might have to go and get an aftermarket one fitted so i can still hear it But i definitely don't wanna blow an AFM/engine so its on the sooner rather than later list.... lol, just helped a mate put one in his B4 too, hope that doesn't go bad

Dunno what your on about with turbo lag, sure theres some in the middle but once ur outta first gear if ur really driving hard theres no lag at all because your on the second turbo the whole time. I don't plan on thrashing it, its my daily and petrols expensive. Most the important bits have been replaced, fuel pump was done and i'm having the clutch seen to soon aswell. Previous owners for the last 10 years never modified the car, looked after it properly, always serviced on time. I didn't meet them but was under the impression they were an older couple who bought it mostly for the comfort, and possibly to tow a caravan? Thanx, should be alright on the fixing side, i'm fairly mechanical minded... On that note i hope its got good sparkplugs, wouldn't even know where to start in getting to them to change them, but when i do i'll be putting the most expensive, fancy long life plugs i can afford in there cos it doesn't look easy

Seems to be fine when i'm thrashing it, especially when its only possible to use the second turbo in 1st and 2nd (legally ) The clutch does seem a little buggered, pedal doesn't sit quite up where it should, but works fine. And if the engine pops i'll just chuck a new one in, they are cheap enough... but even when i thrash my cars i still take proper care of them so it'll be fine.. I'm pretty sure u've gotta be mega stupid or mega unlucky to blow one of these up, and its not in my plans..

lol, i ended up getting a jappa for a daily with more power than my e30... wanted turbo, or big engine but all the bmws i looked at were a bit too old and dodgy, what can i say... i like comforts (cupholders! )

Just got this about 2.5 weeks ago as a daily, got sick of climbing through a jungle gym to get into my e30... goes pretty hard for a jappa, and a mean sound from the factory blow off valve. Only mods so far are : -Pod filter -Sony mp3/cd headunit -Blaupunkt amp -Rampage 12" Subs Only picture i have so far, need to find somewhere to take some more

Wow, amazing u haven't faced that in hamilton already.... most of the driving i saw when i was up there last year was useless! No-one knew how to use a roundabout, and no-one ever pulled over or got out the way if a cop/ambulance/fire engine was coming with lights and sirens... I must've beeen almost taken out several times... (before i took someone else out, but thats another story )
