- Dyed Parcel Tray - Painted gauge panel, actually used black stone chip protection paint for this as it gives a nice textured finish to blend in nice with the dash. - Air Filter system is in the post, just have to fab up a alloy air box now. Oil temp gauge is in the post also to slot in my panel. - Picking the car up tomorrow after 2pm Then am hopefully going to drive it up to Taupo on Thursday till Tuesday for a boozed as weekend. Will take plenty of photos when I am up there, write up a list of things to tidy up on the car and hopefully do some skids in the middle of nowhere So excited

^ Don't really have time Blair, you can have it if you want(since it is a mint one and you are a perfctionist), I know plenty of people with facelift under panels in wellington.
-
Ashkan, how much do you want for it? Bearing in mind it will need to be sent from Auckland to Welly haha

Guess next time I won't bother posting anything to do with audio cause apparently I get paid out for not buying the right stuff. In other news parcel tray is dyed and the gauge panel is painted. 24 hours till I can start properly getting into it.

I got 400w JBL 6x9's for $50 on trade me, barely used, tell me that isnt a good deal.... The front components and the 6 x 9's will both be amped. The front speakers are these: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=252492 Had a good write up on them so I thought I would see how they ran, and kept the rears JBL to match. Don't wana bother with a sub again, been there done that. I am no audiophile, just want something that sounds okay when road tripping etc. Not worried about weight too much, just gonna have to add more power to compensate.

Cheers Ollie, it's has only done a few 'gentle' track days Hey JiB are you color blind? See here: vs Pretty confident they are different. A little 'trawlin' on e30tech threw the color up as Smadmaragrun or something like that, I have the thread saved some of the comments about the color name are hillarious, I will post it up when the car is home, imagine me trying to say that at the paint shop Woohoo for 5th gear!!!!

In a small update, been offered a chance to plead guilty early with a letter of explanation, so it looks like I probably won't have to go to court

Well I have already started shopping and modding bits even before picking the car up, reminds me of a certain thread started not so long ago Just some bits to fill in time/procrastinate for my last exam, before Wednesday. - I am going to use my dash out of the other car so I can make some modifications in it without the risk of ruining another dash. Here is a new gauge panel that will sit where the central heater vents were, I made it up out of a sheet of alloy/oven tray needs some paint and the other gauge to arrive and we will be laughing. - Managed to secure IMO the best wing made of a E30; Tech 1. It will have its plastic trim colorcoded when I do my spare set of wing mirrors at the same time. Thanks to Stephen (Skids). - Started collecting pieces for my stereo system, which will be a basic JBL speakers (5.25 (165w) fronts with crossovers and tweaters and some 6 x 9 (400w) rears with a simple yet to be purchased head unit. Have a spare parcel tray, Thanks to Oli (Sydways E30) to cut up for the 6 x 9's and some spray dye to turn it satin black. - Also got a spare Getrag 260 Gearbox that I will rebuild for the new motor in the summer holidays. Thanks to James (Jimmy). - Have a order with Driven Performance who were extremely helpful for a new Simota Pod Filter with E30 AFM adapter, and a gauge sandwich adapter plate. I am also ordering a front strut brace at some point from them (a non hinged version) they can order fixed bars for around $250 incl gst and shipping.

^ Yeah I wana do either a stroker m20 or a m50. He does have the bits, I am hopefully going to try buy them off him at a later point after I have got the car
