  1. I just got a set of those ^ JBL GTO-506C's, plan on installing the tweeters on the corner of the A pillar above the door cards on e30's (in the small plastic triangle, flush mounted). Hopefully should go alright with a 55wx4 ish head unit, 600w amp and some 400w 6x9s. Thanks for the advice hopefully the JBL's will go good for a moderate audio set up.
  2. Best weekday funny in a while...props to you sir
  3. To the two above posters....I was in the same boat as the OP a few months ago. I did it because it is such a base model car especially if it sees some track time (mine had manual windows, non power steer etc etc) I guess the answer is, if it was easy everyone would do it. Admittedly I have just brought a 2.5 to replace the 1.6, but that was because of matters out of my control. I say have a go if you want to try a motor swap, I have more fun building stuff/modding cars than I do driving them, if anyone has actually seen his intro thread he has spent a lot of money tiding it u so you know it will be a good job and in saying that why trade it in for more hp when all the hard work on the interior/exterior has already been done. My 2c, good luck man.
  4. ^ From people I have talked to, and I am no expert, there is no point (read: no difference) in fitting a front strut brace if your cage extends to the front strut towers.
  5. 1 x PFL Lip with Oil Cooler Cutout (must be unbroken). 1 x Front and Rear Ashtrays 1 x Pair Plastic Inner Door Trim for a Coupe (covers join between carpet and bottom piece chassis where bottom piece of door meets) 1 x PFL Passenger Hi Beam Headlight Complete There will be more as I go along Leave a post here or PM me. - Nathan

  7. e30 318is exhaust manifold/headers, your m40 oil sump, someone who knows lots about wiring and can bypass the e36 imobilisers. Thats about it. Plenty of stuff on m42club.com Was going to do it to my race car before I wrote it off. The amount of work to fit it, you miles well put in a m50/m52, much more bang for your buck.

  12. I'm no pro at any of this, maybe try a entire new battery, it is a good thing to replace if they keep going flat on a car anyway, I had problems with mine taking a bit to start and having to keep charging it and it definitely improved when I put a brand new battery in.
  13. ^ Mitch if we can get 10 people, I think then we could get Jason to talk to his guy and do a mass order, up to you though.

  20. 100 for the shifter arm + 26 for the plastic cup you need to replace it. And that price is just if 1 person was buying it, so discounted for more people joined.
  21. ^ 110 to 120 is if I was buying one solely, so a little less than that if a group of us did obviously. I am waiting for Jase to get back to me, he will know more than me
