For a E30. Have disconnected everything required bar the propeller shaft. Am having problems getting it off. Is there any way I can just unbolt the side that connects the universal joint to the diff? I can seem to be able to undo any of the nuts to get it off Mainly because the driveshaft is still spinning as I try spanner them off Am using a Haynes Manual and it is as useful as tits on a bull at the best of times. What am I missing??? Thanks, Nathan

For a E30. In dropping the subframe, have found mine is f**ked..maybe thats half of my knocking noises. Is this a dealer only item?? or can I get one from a wreckers etc. And do I need to replace the whole section or is there a rubber bush replacement. - Nathan

^ Hey, Have got a new camshaft to swap over, just have no idea how to do it/where to find info on doing it. Links are appreciated. Have also got hold of a ohmeter to test resistance on the TPS. Have also replaced the split intake boot but I wasn't expecting any difference with that, just peace of mind. And have got another ECU which may help the fuel mapping troubles. Hopefully will have some progress in the coming days.

Cheers everyone again. Going to start disassembling the rear end to put the new urethane rear subframe bushes in (thanks Paul from Interpart(#14)). Have a new camshaft arriving later this week (thanks Dave (Silverfox)). Replacing my broken front lip with a better condition PFL one (thanks Blair (BRS)). Also have a new ECU and some work to do on the TPS to get it running sweet again. Pics to follow after wheel alignment. What would I do without the help of members such as the above to get this car going great, really appreciate it everyone.

Schmall Teasors (Sorry for sh*t pics). Car looks really high cause didn't put tyres on other side, and had just been jacked up so springs not compressed back down fully. - Nath
