Add me guys: BAMMMLEY Loving the game so far, I brought Dad it and a Logitech Driving Force for xmas, can totally agree that the game was made for a wheel. Havn't played much yet, up to level 13 I think, personal highlight so far would be getting gold in the Combi race. Has anyone passed the Lotus Elise top gear one? Christ it is hard even with the ability to adjust the throttle I don't know how you guys do it with a controller... But yeah, can say I think it is far better on the whole over NFS Shift, although I think this still isn't the biggest leap on the whole between GT sequels.

Bit of a new years update: Process of/picked up race series rear springs, Z3 shifter, 15' Weaves. Doing a rear suspension order in the next few days/week then time to start ripping it all apart. Pelican order will come this week then going to do cambelt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat (what do I actually need to order when overhauling all this?) etc whilst the motor is out (will do a test run on this car then do my own E30 ha). Started stripping the boot today along with removing the hideous Jap plate holders in order to remove boot sound deadening, anyone have any tips for removing the long range fuel tank and converting it to just the standard tank? Is it as easy as pulling out the Y piece and plugging in the standard one? Broke the rusty exhaust the other day so will pull that off and get the one off my own car replicated. Does M8 X 16mm sound familiar for pressure plate bolts anyone? Car is now called the Interislander because it handles like a boat, I get motion sickness from driving it. Pics to come when interesting stuff happens, hopefully still going to have this buttoned up and knocked together by March.

Hey Kerry, You could always borrow the decent rubber one out of the Interislander while it's getting ripped to bits while we wait for urethane ones to arrive so you can get a WOF etc.... Just a thought.

Check you havn't knocked the ignition switch off/come loose (opposite side where the key goes in) when you were installing the dash. Ign switch turns the fuel pump on etc. Find and swap over the fuel pump relay with another one in the fuse box, there are others sitting there that work in the same slot. I've got a full set of brand new BMW ones for a M20, think i have a few brand new exhaust studs too. You can have them for free, I was once in your shoes too. PM me your address.

Measure twice and cut once, do the job once and do it right, just be patient, if you start cutting corners etc it will just cost more $ and time in the long run, building race cars isn't supposed to be easy (or cheap).

FYI, on a 316/318/320 with the battery in the engine bay, a box of Corona fits perfectly in the RHS rear well in the boot where the battery is on a 325 Looks good Paul, nice score, leather interior and door cards are here if you want them. Cheap cheap lol.
