  1. I had the same issue when I imported an LSD center recently, you literally just have to keep chasing them. Call this number, 0800 428 786, discuss the situation and they will probably say it hasn't been processed yet and then they will likely put you through to the international mail team at NZ Post, the latters phone isn't always managed so you will have to keep calling them until they answer..ridiculous. Basically all packages that need duty paid on them go in these massive cages and NZ Post process the cages in lots, not package by package, so it may happen once a week for example - because that process is logical....and then it is passed onto Customs to collect the duty and then the package is released. I agree re comments about managing the tax on all goods when they can't do a certain group, my diff centre sat at customs for a month, before the international team called me up to confirm it wasn't a business expense...they then on-forwarded it to customs, and I dealt with an customs customer service email address (not wait for a letter to be posted). Paid, and then the item was sent, I think 5 weeks after it arrived in NZ. The main learning I had was when buying items that you know will be over the $400 threshold to try and pay extra and use a company such as Fedex or DHL if possible who will deal with customs and invoice you duty fees on behalf, rather than say a cheaper freight company such as USPS where you become the go between between NZ Post and Customs. Hope that helps.
  2. Awesome thanks all, blowtorch and a chisel did the trick.
  3. Hi all I brought a LSD center for my E36 med case diff which did not have a speedo trigger wheel on it as pictured. Has anyone removed one of these before and knows the best way to do itt? I have a spare open diff which I am taking the trigger wheel off. It seems to be pressed on so I figured heat and a bearing puller type tool is my best Idea so far. Any help? Cheers Nathan
  4. Are they staggered wheels and you have the wider wheels on the front not the rear?
  5. James, keen for a set if I am not too late to the party.
  6. As above, does anyone have a known source for this tape? Doesn't need to be BMW product. There used to be a few sources on here a few years ago. Thanks Nathan
  7. Hi Reuben I would prefer to sell it altogether, I may be able to arrange free shipping to Auckland via a friendly truck driver who is a member on here. If you are interested send me a PM.
  8. Bump, want all this gone asap. Thanks
  9. As above - Black standard leather seats in tidy condition. Front seats are non-electric. Only obvious wear is the drivers outer bolster, which could be repaired with some filler and dye if you are fussy, rear seat has headrests and are fold-able. Includes rear seat belts. Note there are no door cards included. $250 ono - Non sunroof coupe headliner, in grey. Recently DIY recovered in near identical OEM fabric sourced from Pelican Parts at great expense. I would rate the final product a 8.5/10. $100 Prefer pick up from Wellington, otherwise can drop off at Mainfreight. Thanks Nathan
  10. Hey Ray is the black coupe Diamond Schwarz or Black?
  11. M42 thermo sensor thread and pitch is identical to the M50 one. I am running an 14 inch electric fan (high speed) with a 318i 80/88c sensor set up in mine, with the original aux fan (low speed), being a track car I have gone for overkill. Make sure you buy a new switch, and go to pick a part and cut the female plug off one with some wiring (the M50 temp sensor has a different style of plug which won't connect unless you bodge it). I also got a lower temp thermostat to match this
  12. Andrew, I am putting one in my E36 track car, the factory E30/36 manual gear stick is 14mm dia. so you'll need to get the shaft machined down to 12mm and a 1.5 thread cut into it, or I in my own instance am using solid alloy rod to extend the shifter (touring car style) then cut a thread into it for the knob to mount to.
  13. As per pic for the drivers side, to suit a 2000 coupe if there is any difference. Posted to Wellington. Cheers Nathan

  18. Hi all Can anyone who may have these easily available to them, be able to roughly measure the height and width (at the widest point) of each for me? My car is in storage and I want to get some mounts made. Thanks Nathan
  19. Which ones are you after?
  20. Yep, should fit in the biggest post bag - PM me if you want it. Yes, if you can arrange pick up. Cheers
  21. The Delrin ones were from Mosens, the Urethane ones are Nolathane
