I'm keen - what brand is it ? approx how far does it offset the wheel ? Would you include the tool used to fix it ? I'm going to be buying one soon anyway, averagely tempted by the $99 repco deal just as I can on sell hte wheel and make some of my coin back hopefully. Are all horn buttons the same size ? I have a horn button on the wheel I have hear, only hte problem is its a toyota boss kit. Any idea of rough cost to get it to Auckland ? Cheers Andy.

laugh - i think you'll find he stole the pics from another auction and has 318iS bottlecaps. hes selling 7 sets of mags yet he cant even choose the stud pattern correctly and has to take it down to a mag shop.. somethings fishy.

I've discovered hte solution! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Business-farming-...on-73576278.htm I'll donate $5 towards it if someone can organise pics upon delivery . Donations guys, he cant afford this on his own and this guy deserves to get schooled.

I've got a spare M40 - they're well known for there snapping cambelts apparently. They're only single cam, maybe your thinkingt of the M42 318iS. I dont htink they make chips to tune 318i M40's just because the US markets dont have them and hte UK Markets I dont htink bother with chips for htem.

I was neglected as a child. It wouldnt appeal to those old coggers out there as was after their time, I think Coro street is probably an equal or worse comparison that hte old farts will relate too. Now watch the heads turn. It has its ups and downs, nothing really better to watch around that time, but no shiz I saw my car parked in West Auckland on their once.. worse yet hte person nearly hit it . Speaking of BMW's on tv .. did anyone hear about that couple found dead in west auckland, apparently the husband was found in his car. He had a E32 7 series with numberplate 10SPRO (tennis pro) .. any link to these forums ?

would this mean no importing classic cars over the age of 20 ? classic cars like that wont be road registerable?

1 set of basketweaves 14" Sitting on 3 Pirelli's with good tread and one good treaded tyre. - $offers very little or no curbing 1 basketweave has a minor chip to the inside where the centrecap goes, does not affect the operation of the wheel. Pics to come. 1 set of 14" bottlecaps Rear tyres warrantable front tyres not - $offers one mag has a gouge (only just noticed) otherwise everythings fine. Looks like 3 centrecaps although IMO they look better without. will give it a week or so before I put them on trademe.

woops should have said. - Front Bumper Insert please.

hell no ! Saw your thread on trademe and personally i wouldnt split it from ur engine for anything less than around what the engine itself was worth so maybe $250. Its a huge pain in teh arse selling the rest of the engine and there is some work involved. Tell the guy to buy the engine. You have to weigh up whether its worth more splitting it from the engine or just keeping it together. Split the gearbox from the engine, is worth more separate. Cheers Andy

That white insert that goes in the facelift bumper. My spare has a broken clip so wont hold on well .

A few questions thanks gus 1. Are the pre-fl and fl parts interchangeable or do they conflict if you were to bolt this onto a fl engine. 2. What does a 2.7 generally put out ? any one on the forums got one and have figures. 3. How much do you think doing a 2.7 L conversion would end up costing all up? Is it a stable upgrade ?

hes got an E30, much more DIY mechanic friendly.

if you cut the wire, wouldnt it still be a broken circuit ? Taking the bulb out of hte dash is not that hard really and it wont cause any permanent damage to the car. Takes about 15mins to do with no special tools just a flat head and phillips head screwdriver and a 22mm socket which you'll probably need to go buy. and your sweet (possibly some needle nose pliers See here, its a sinch.

Around 14-16k is my guess.

E30 Leaks - what would cause a leak that would take on water in the passenger side footwell .. it seems to be coming from the back not hte front. Any idea how to combat this. Also some dampness in rear passenger side well.

websites like this and bimmerdiy.com would be useful to any keen bmw owner. I just meant for reference for people so they can check it out, it may solve querries before they post a thread.

can we please get a list of E30 mechanic / diy url's stickied.. i use this often.. and takes a while going thruogh the history to find it.
-
oh dear - please tell me that wasnt bought from Newport Imports ? that first pic look suspiciously like their typical foto. Back on topic - mag and turbo sell ruotecompany mags which they are replica's in bmw style but generally you might find hte quality could be shocking being replica's They pop up on trademe from time to time.. keep an eye out.

I think preferably 4 door is the go... so you can fit some tech 2 skirts on.

You would probably need to quote the E-code (eg. E36 E34 E30 E38 E39 etc etc.), the year, possibly whether its a facelift or pre-facelift model and maybe the VIN number that should be stamped either in the inside of hte drivers door or in the engine bay either below the windscreen or stamped onto a plate above the headlights on front drivers side in the engine bay. Something to take into consideration is there may not be a LED brakelight spoiler for your model, the ones you may have seen could be aftermarket or non bmw.
