find a spare steelie with a bald tyre on it.. take off the clamp, put the clamp on the steelie and drive off. edit - chain their clamp up for trespassing on your steelie ... (and so no-one thinks you stole it when someone else does)

the 18's style 5's on the E28 in those photos reminds me of the White 190E with huge wire wheels on it in Auckland, I dont think they suit. Too big in my opinion. 16-17 tops, even 17's pushing it.. although theres not that many 16's aroudn that do justice in terms of design.

thanks for the comments, at this stage I would assume that repairing and straightening the car not to mention painting the bastard is going to ultimately cost more than the car is worth.

you have a pre-facelift correct ? if so .. the bumpers are different as is the valance, quite possibly the fenders too.

its possibly one of the conversion kits will be staying as the likelihood of finding a shell which isnt auto is pretty small.

which one ? 318i gearbox conversion and the 320i gearbox conversion.

4.27 is definately small case, not 100% sure about the 3.91, it'll be arriving soon.

For all those that have blown up their engine, cracked the head or are looking at getting rid of their shell please give this a read. I am looking at purchasing a shell to replace my current car that will be most likely written off due to a rear end accident last week. My basic specifications are below, if yours does not comply please dont hestitate to post up anyway. E30 Facelift Shell 88-91 2 Door or touring lol No rust - maybe some exceptions. No motor is fine No gearbox is fine Would prefer rolling on alloy wheels Must be straight No sunroof preferable but okay. Good paint, no oxodised nor fading would be preferable. Trying for as stock as possible, so please state what non stock modifications if any that it might have. Modified suspension not a huge worry, as this will be getting replaced anyway. Preferably from an E30 318i but will consider others. note : if you know its a dawg of a car please dont mislead me into buying it, I've already lost my fair share of E30's. feel free to put up any trademe or other auction / forsale sites. This car is going to be gutted for a race car so suggest you dont go for any over $2k at an absolute max.

tell me more. Why are you upgrading ? How many km's on them ? Are they going to need a rebuild / gas? tell me all that ya know about the buggers.

there is a ding on the front passenger side fender that I forgot mention Will, just so you know. edit - and some slight dimples in the bonnet as well..3 maybe. Will put pics up once weather improves and car is finally written off.

Glove box is the same colour as the dashboard I think, the lock isnt extremely good.. I would probably recommend getting a new one, the rear ashtray lid comes off, the seats are in alrite condition (starting to frey on passenger seat, but nothing yet, they are that grey stock shaped ones. Will get back to you on the tyres for the basketweaves.

mmm... maybe.. im not a huge fan of Pre-fl .. nor the 320i engine. I've got an idea up my sleeve, I dont know if a race car is still on the cards, hopefully yes it will. The engine in the car is still great, was previously reconditioned. The only damage to componentry I can see is that the exhaust has come off its mountings.. but thats all. Still runs fine, drove it home with guard rubbing on rear tyre, was a lot of smoke and a strong smell of rubber. Fortunately I was only about a km from home, would hate to leave it on the side of the road. Cheers Andy
