no idea, but it is strongly suggested you steer clear of it. Mate is willing to bet its not close to 200hp let alone 300. he owns i think 4 E30's at the present time (thats where they've all gone. Hes owned many in his previous years and would know them inside out.

if you run it empty you sometimes have to get your car serviced afterwards, as you can leave air in the fuel lines. I'm sure that would cause some hickups like the said problem.

just cost $150.10 to fill up dads E38 7 series yesterday.
-
what are you after for the rear brake componentry ..
-
you still cant. All the E30's must be exaclty the same spec aside from safety features. Ie. Your only allowed facelift E30 318's .. with factory spec.. not a E30 pre-fl with a 318 M40 engine in it.

Initial cost would be overwritten by ongoing costs involved wouldnt it ? how much does the average cambelt cost to do?
-
What is the trade-off for each of these. I would have thought chain be better as that decreases the likelyhood of it snapping and reduces maintenance cost. But in saying that have there been many if any chain driven BMW's since the M10 ? Is chain driven louder ? Decrease in performance ? Chain seems better, so why isnt it more widely used ?

why you little :banghead: !

LOL what happened to not owning a manual because your gonna get pwned by a cop and lose ur licence ... owning anyone of those other cars is gonna get you pulled up a hell of alot more than a 318i. No licence = no car.

yeah I was more saying the colour doesnt look the stock original colour. I realise its been repainted. Not sure whether its hennarot or the other colour.. ahh .. cant think of the name. The reason I said have you been seeing the car for a year... is hte previous owner had been selling it a year ago for a fair few months and just thoguht he gave up and kept it. Just for reference how many km's has the engine / shell done.
-
yeah no Gus is right, an enthusiast generally is interested in a 100% stock car thats been kept in excellent condition. Your car I'm not particularly sure about hte colour being original or different, the wheels and the interior bits for that matter. It seems most people these days want stock so they can modify to there own tastes if they choose too. Sure it may seem like its valued at 7k but correct me if im wrong but your've been selling it for over a year now. I'm not disputing the fact I'm sure your've put hte time, money and effort into this car, but unfortunately being able to make that back with the old BMW's is near needle and haystack material. Sorry if this seems harsh but it seems cars of that age now arent practical enough for everyday drivers anymore, not having the basic necessitys most people would deem acceptable these days eg. air conditioning, electric windows, power steering. Good luck with your sale.

thanks for your input, really good insite into things. Its great that its mostly going down to skill not whoever has the deepest pockets.
