no. You need an M20 gearbox. Either a Getrag 240/260. Be careful though as some of the getrag 240's are made for the 4 cylinder engines not the 6 and you wont be able to use them. Choose wisely, the 260 is the standard gearbox for the 325, you can use a 240 M20 gearbox but you will need to lengthen the drive shaft.

It looks like a spec'd up model. As I dont think that car would have came out factory with ABS and 325 sports / low spec (no kit) M325's still came with shadowlined trim. Interior is all matched with door cards, I was under the impression pre facelifts generally didnt have electric windows / sunroof hence why I think its had an overhaul being up spec'd. Has got mtech 1 spoiler on the back I believe. If its imported from the UK it may pay to check that the km'age is not miles.

sweet car man, jealous you got so lucky. What you wanna replace the mags with, make it semi M325 feel with some baskets ?

many of hte chips have been sampled and arent worth the money in NZ. Apart from higher redline there isnt any gain, often a loss. And you'll be looking to pay $300+delivery or more and its not economical choice especialyl when if your importing them they're made for different markets such as the US or UK who use different octane levels etc.

its not the exterior condition people are worried about with the singaporean imports, its the engine and electrics. The heat extremes cause havoc.

cheap, and sounds not so good. Theres a guy running one on an E30 320 at unitec, and it not only sounds bad but they're also really quite big, they belly of it hangs down a fair distance and can be viewed in a 270 degree circle of the rear of the car. If your getting one I would hope you have a rear valance or apron to help cover it because it looks fugly especially when you can see the tips start off smaller then get bigger at the other end. Nothings perfect, get what pleases you. but take into consideration what I just said.

I've also got an M20 Getrag 240 gearbox if its needed.

So your thinking about importing a BMW I know a lot of people are interested every now in then about finding out information on importing BMW's. Its not only a way to find what you want, but get it at a more reasonably price than in NZ. What do you need to consider I've found some useful information that will help familiarise anyone with any doubts over what they can and cant import that is specifically related to BMW with regard to the frontal impact rules. Frontal Impact Guidelines 648kb PDF file (can use with Adobe Acrobat) While considering the idea of importing an E30 M3 I found out that there are general rules that apply but none of which I've heard first hand from LTSA or anyone of authority. These include - You must own the vehicle 90 days overseas before date of importing. - The car must be over 20 years of age - You cannot import an E30 M3 wait till its 20 years old, you must then export it then re-import it keeping in mind the same regulations apply (90days). there are others that I cant think about right now, but I think it would be a good idea to make a thread along these lines and sticky it up so people can see if it they're thinking about going along those lines in the future. Just an idea. Cheers Andy

Whats mafia styling these days ?

how much you after brent ?

not having enough money isnt an excuse to just go out and buy cheaper mags that dont look nearly as good but I guest each to there own. You just wait longer. Put the g-zero's on the M3 when you get it too, you can sell M3 mags for like $2000 and buy some subs for the boot. Your opinion is what matters, enjoy them and park cautiously.

The cars been written off, I will get onto parting it out gradually. I'm in big assignment / exam / test period so please keep me updated with what your wanting and I'll pm a price or list it up on here. Thanx Andy
