    1990 B12 5.0 Alpina

fcuk just that car! - nice Garage!!!!!!!
  2. The more air you move, the louder it is, so you have to run more smaller woofers harder to get same volume as a larger one. But, sometimes 2 10" is better than 1 12" as overall surface area greater etc. just buying a 12 is easier.
  3. Complimentary beer for five hours for $65???? I'm in like flynn. Someone calendar this. i won't be needing the free parking.......
  4. Wicked photo, wicked badge. I might come steal it.
  5. Thanks Martyn and others. I won't bother even looking at the vehicle as it looks a tad shabby, and was only interested if it was a genuine (or close to it) Alpina at a ridiculously cheap price. I had been wondering about the duplicated y for awhile myself but never bothered to ask. Chur.
  6. Someone said it before, but with appearance mods, the novelty wears off, but if your car goes like a cut cat you'll be grinning every time you drive it. Saying that - I spend a shitload of time in making my car look better, so....
  7. Can't say I see how you tell that, but the 740 is definately the choicer car, and its start bid is what I would have thought the 735 might be worth.I don't really want a gas guzzler like that anyway, but still might go check it out.
  8. I am thinking of going to have a look, but no f-all about this model. Ideas on an approx price range, things to look for and so on would be appreciated. Not a huge 7er fan, but it appears to be genuine Alpina, and so that makes it that little bit special. Edit: sh*t, forgot the link
  9. Carbon fibre widebody is pretty cool. Carbon is pretty cool - usually looks terrible in many automotive applications, but it is such a versatile material.
  10. sh*t oh dear, why would you spend all that time?? It was rather good though

  15. I just got my front valance, front lip, plastic bits from valance and rear boot lip done. I did all the prep sanding, but they did the primer some minor bog and all painting and finishing. Slight extra cost as they needed to put additives in the paint for the rubber boot lip so the pint won't crack as it flexes and expands etc in the sun or if someone puts weight on it, and they had a bit of trouble getting the paint to adhere to the stone-chip resistant coating on the front valance which I had sanded smooth but not removed. $200 the lot.

I'm sure it was a 6??? I knew it wasn't Peter's, but I don't know Gerry personally. Maybe the 6 was the old targa car they had??? **Sorry to hijack your thread vivian**

http://www.phill.co.uk/comedy/young/That's just e30-323ti showing his age..... You will find that there is not really a "right way" to go about your suspension mods. I would try to talk to those who have raced bmw's in targa as they might have a bit more of an idea of what holds best under high-speed road use although the amount of gravel in targa is sometimes limited. The only person I know who races a BMW in targa is Peter Robinson who is a committee member of the bmw car club in NZ. There are others, but I don't know them. Peter races a 6 series in targa, but also owns two e30's, so may have some knowledge. His email adddress is on the car club website www.bmwclub.org.nz. Any of you bmwcc members know of anyone else?
