  5. Went home for the uni holidays did a whole lot of work on the car... motor is now sitting in the hole and the mounts are being made up... its a very tight fit so looks like were going to have to notch the sump slightly but it just sits in there as it is... The shifter sits about 15cm forward of where the stock shifter hole is Got lots of pics but left my camera behind in Wellington by accident so will chuck up some pics as soon as my camera gets shipped down to me
  6. Looking for a crashed E46 need lots of random little parts for my race car project... Would ideally be smacked in the bum but willing to look at just about anything for the right price As long as its rolling anywhere in the north island is ok
  7. Only a W55 picked up a couple of them super cheap so gunner thrash those till the break as long as I dont slap gears they should hold up okish now updates as of yet but am heading up home for a holiday in the next so hopefully get some more work done
  8. 2.3 Supercharged Miller Cycle engine Auto 17inch Rays 5 spoke wheels Cruise control ABS Traction control. Electric Leather Seats It will need a stereo of your choice fitted. Wof till Sept Rego till Nov 240,000ish km Car is located in Dunedin $2000 The car has not been driven hard and runs really well. The interior is clean and tidy. The exterior is reasonably tidy, the only downfall being the clear coat becoming patchy on the boot lid, and a scuff on the drivers door. Surprisingly, the car is not bad on fuel, getting 100k per 11 liters around town. All in all, a tidy, excellent running and comfortable driving car.
  9. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detai...T_ID=TDR4675412 That would be something to look at getting and something Im going to have to get/replicate due to the extra stresses Im going to be putting my car through

  14. Yup have a couple of W series boxes but yet to find the right bellhousing sadly looking at getting the bellhousing i do have modded just due to the cost of a JZ bellhousing being close to $500
  15. Home for mid semester break.... so quickly chucked some of the parts on Fitted the carbon fiber bonnet.... and mirrors Seems the bonnet must be a coupe one cause its about 20mm to long but Im not really bothered Fitted the AC Schnitzer Spoiler

  18. Wicked tune Got both this and Got to be you on vinyl
  19. Excuse the paint pretty much just hosed on some paint to cover the exposed metal since its going to be a wee while befor I am able to get the front end sand blasted to clean it up But the cars now sporting some headlights and a front rad support/bumper support
  20. Had a bit of a tidy up today of the car Put some tail lights in it and put the front windows in the car... Am still waiting for the front slam panel to arrive so I can refit the headlights
  21. As the story goes paint was poured onto the bonnet and back of the car and set on fire which is kind of a sad end for such a nice car
  22. Yup sure did.... Well I havnt opened them yet but they dont rattle so Im taking that as a healthy sign Have decided to keep the BMW subframe and use a 2J now just for ease of fitment really above anything else... Havnt measured the track width yet but have measured the wheelbase and the BMW is 20cm longer in the wheel base then a S14... But really if Im not happy with the track width thats easy fixed with more spacers or better ofset wheels
  23. Well it seems Im rather useless at saving... Rather then saving for when I become a student Ive been buying parts Ive brought replacement lights (Thanks Matasorapit) windows for the front drivers and passengers windows (Thanks Tony!) Am waiting for a new motor, front rad support, front bumper support and rear bumper support to arrive.... So will be fitting everything to the car over the next week or so with any luck After spending hours and hours trying to work out the best way to get the VQ to go into the car Ive decided the best way to do it is not to.... Have gone and brought myself a 2JZGE from a Supra and will be doing a +t conversion on it after doing a lot of research and seeing how popular this is in the states it looks like it will produce the sort of power Im after
  24. Hi Guys Quick update the build has slowly down to a crawl but is still coming along slowly, Ive quit my job and am going back to school for a year to get some quals so I can further my career so moneys sure going to be tight but its sure going to be interesting. After lots of talking with the shop thats building the car, motorsport nz and a few other clued up people the VQ is up for sale and is going to be replaced with either a 1J or 2J just due to the fact it will be much easier to get into the car and produce just as much power. This is turning very much into a project thats going to evolve slowly into something very different from what it was ment to be when it all started out but thats half the fun of these projects
  25. Then does that not mean the standards need to be stricted on AVI's? and there be more checks in place to make sure people are meeting the standards?
