Mate i had mine done this summer by Unicool they are at 19 Stewart St (ph) 3771689. I took mine in and they done a free check as i had a good talk to him and he said a car my age should not have run out of gas. They found a leak and quoted me how much everything was going to cost before going ahead. They fixed everything up serviced it, replaced filters and all up cost was $300. Was so worth doing with they heat we are getting these last few days.

What could be better than (in my opinion cause its mine ) a fine looking bimmer in the arvo sun. Followed by a pic of the temp when taking the random snap. Yup a hot day to be sure.

Wow ray that sounds super cheap, Is that for a set of 4 ie front + Rear ??

I am looking at getting some decent floor mats for front and rear. Anybody know where would be the best place to look. Browsing around the web i seen some fantastic ones with bmw on them in a square where your feet go, I thought they looked good but can't be fagged getting things shipped from the uk. I have had a look around repco etc but there are none that fit the front drivers side with the positioning of the accelerator pedal. I see there are some sort of clips on the floor are there a genuine mat that these are used for ???

Had to do a trip up to nelson yesterday and back again as well. Trip up was fine although a little slow with all the traffic on the road. Trip back was going ok until the straight heading towards Culverden. Getting along at around cough cough 120 when there was a hawk in the middle of the road having a feast. I think he got stuck in the headlights before making a break for it and and slammed into the front left of the car then into the windscreen and over the top. I immediately stopped and jumped out and starting heading towards the front of car. The missus was yelling no no its back behind the car somewhere. My response was f**k that, what damage has it done to the car. After careful inspection and pulling the odd feather out no damage has been done. Got back in the car and the missus was aren't you going to check on thehawk. My response was nope be dead by now. She says you were more worried about your car than the bird. My response was YES. Anyway the rest of the drive home was nice and quiet.

Using the site Carjam i did a check on my car and everything looked correct until i came to the milage report which is showing the following (in the pic) As you can see there is a 868,380 decrease in odometer. Everything under the hood looks like new and never had a problem with the car and runs like a dream. Still i can't help but feel worried, Should i be ???
