New Simon? Holy sh*t mate, let us know how many limbs that costs ya lol.
-
Well now the things are turning up everywhere. Perfect opportunity for someone to get into a classic with a very good resto' base. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-240107814.htm

I do know the costs of owning one, my sister owned 2 when she lived in Germany. And i know they don't come cheap. The point is done correctly it will never lose money, so 18k is a VERY good starting point.
-
I find it quite funny how nearly everyone on here says "I would love an E30 M3, but can't afford one". Well this one IS cheap and if i had the $ i would jump on it even tho' i don't like E30's. This sounds like it needs less work to comply than my 2500 E3. And a lot of guys here are spending big $ and sh*t loads of time doin conversions on their run-o-the mill E30's but no this M3 is TOO MUCH WORK. PFFFT What ever, my 2c.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn’t always fair; and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an Elastoplast to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, I Want It Now, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

Looks good Si', i'm comin' over sat for a funeral but not bringing my car tho. Shame as i think mine is now worthy of a p'shoot with yours now lol. PS Are those pic's at Whirinaki(sp) or Awatoto?
-
Yep, will have to get cert', as soon as you start f**kin' with engine mount that's it. I guess the M30b35 was out of a late E32, the early E32 mounts are the same as E28.

Ok, can any one tell me 'bout a relatively easy fix for this? For the last 2 years if i want to drive my car i have to let it warm up for a good 5 min' before it will change out of 1st. Seems to be a pretty common prob' with the 4hp22's. This only happens when i start it for the first time ie: the next day/couple days after last drive. After it warms up it's fine, changes well, goes into reverse sweet. Doesn't slip, fluid smells fine and isn't low. Just really gettin' pissed off now. Yes i know a manual swap would fix it but as i've got project BELLICOSE on the go i can't be f**ked havin' 2 cars in bits.
-
Agreed pjay, however this WILL attract the cocks.
-
Hope no BS members are plannin' on joinin' in on this so called "protest" on Te Rapa rd tonight. Will be watchin' the news as i don't think this will end well.
-
If it's as bad as he says then i very much doubt he will get 3K. Will have to wait for pics. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=236940804

Car has a 3" 45 degree drop tip and the OEM filler piece looks good and fits really well.

Also talk to Tony here http://www.tonybmw.co.uk He has a great knowledge of E12s This is pretty big but will help with chasing parts as far as using parts from E28/E21/E24 Mods will probably tell me off for it being so big lol.
