Oh tru mint I couldnt find anything in the nolothane book are they Nolothan or Noltec brand? I can get some for $65 + GST and they are in the country, thats noltec ones.

Ah right yea I will probably do the e36 steering rack at some stage also but trying to stick to one thing at a time atm lol. Got my turbo conversion happening and trying to sort out my 5 stud conversion at the same time, abit upsetting to the bank account lol.

Hey all Bimmersport fans

Have just successfully converted my E34 535 M30 to manual and I must say what a difference it has made!, especially on the economy. Managed to line an auto version up at a set of lights the next day and he was keen to have a go, blitzed him by 4 or 5 car lengths I was pissing myself laughing!!

Now moving on to bigger and better things , i'm considering adding a supercharger to her just to make it even more interesting. Looking at a SC12 supercharger out of a Toyota Levin and planting it where my air conditioning pump sits once it's all ripped out.

BUT, i'm scared it won't be big enough even though i'm going to run standard compression etc etc with this.

What do you think??

Awesome where did you source the bushes from and how much were they? Sux about the control arm makes sense tho if only one side is out. Yea I will be putting the stock spring and shocks in until I have enough money to hopefully purchase some BC's. Yup I will be changing the tophats over and already have the medium case diff and 325i axles and CV's (Direct swap into the 318is arms)

Are you going to do the E36 steering rack swap also?

i hada read up on the steering rack swap the other day but i havnt decided on if il do it just yet. wil do in the future tho. what wheels will you be running?

Hey man, how did you get on with the offset bushes? Did they end up correcting your castor? Also where did you source them from, are they urethane?

I just picked up my e36 318ti rear subframe, rear suspension arms/hubs and front hubs off Ray at HELLBM yesterday just need the bushes and adjustable suspension now. What Adjustable suspension are you using?

Hi yes i have the offset bushes in now.. they made the castor a hell of a lot better ( now i can actually turn the wheels )

one of the wheels are still sitting back a lil bit and im prity sure its a bent controll arm. will put another one in in the next few days and see if it makes a diff.

for the suspension...

in my oppinion, build it all using the stock parts first.

you will need to change the e36 tophats off the front struts to e30.

with the rear we had to change the drive axels that connect to the diff to e30 also. ( you may not have to )

i have ARC adjustable front susp to go in when i get a warrent and in the back i have koni shocks and selby 650mm lowering springs. for wheels i have 5series motorsport wheels. front is 235/45/17 and rear is 255/40/17.

Yeah Mark thats what I was thinking today actually,

I would like a manual for a change but Id be stretching my budget out for one, starting at around 6-7k for anything decent. Therefore an automatic one would suit me best, remembering this is going to be A-B car, does not need to be the sports version so an auto 323i would probably be the most logical, though Ill have to keep and eye on the gearboxes as like many automatics they can get issues...

i know a young guy at my work who has a e36 coupe 323i manual.

lowerd 17'' bmw rims good tyres and int looks good too..

being a young guys car it has been kaned round a bit... il tell him to take me for a drive 2mrow and see how it goes..

i would like to buy it off him but ive got too many cars and no cash. i dont know howmuch he'd sell it for but he dosnt reli know what they are worth so it wudnt be a stupid price.

My blue E30 320 auto 4 door is for sale.

I have already changed the power steering rack.

It was waiting for a waterpump.

Have replacement front seats to replace the frayed thread bear ones.

Also have a replacement bonnet strut.

It ran really nice but was emptying water from the waterpump, I found part of the thermostate missing and think thats what killed the water pump

Hi, only have the rear ones out atm. they are munroe brand with thread adjustment and have red springs. am prity sure the front are the same minus the adjustable thread.

Hi, i dont quite know what your asking. but if u mean what kind of wheels does it have? it only has 2spare wheels on the back and blocks at the front.

What colour are the panels? Was this a 535i?

am unsure of selling it at the moment, i need an e30 lsd and have been told rather than sell this one and buy an e30lsd. to swap the inturnals of the e34lsd into a medium case e30 diff. unless i get offerd a price i cant turndown

Are there anyparts you guys need? Lowering suspension allround with Adjustable rear shocks, I think they are Nolothane bushes on the susp arms. Have bumpers bonet front guards doors good cond hood lining sunroof boot with mtec spoiler taillights glass incase someone gets a smashed window. all parts like $20 each lol giving them away.
