Hmmm probably something thats in draft at the moment and being tested. It will be driven from kids messing with their suspension however what usually happens with these ammendments is if they dont standup as a rule for all, EG take all circumstances into account including legit ones, then they just get turned into a guide open to interpretation and left to the certifier. I wouldnt stress about it. Build your car to the current rules and put it through. You'll be fine.

Brakeleen / degreaser for any oily bits first ... the rest is rag(s) + tooth brush, half a day with meguiars tar and bug remover. Works really well on metals and kind on paint. Two show and shines with placings + a magazine shoot agree ... it works (all different cars) Water and engines is a bit of a no no. Too easy to screw and altenator or other parts.

At the moment youre fine, and again these rules are written in a way which its left upto the certifier to make a judgement call. http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/standard...ion_Systems.pdf

Hmm tend to desagree on the 18 inch thing for e46's. Visual balance is actually not to do with size. Its to do with the center sizing. Mine use to have 18inch centers and 19inch barrels .. which mean't the stepped lip was bigger. This allowed it to have a larger sizing but retain a balanced none enourmous look. If you had a wheel that had spokes that went out to the edge of the lip it does two things, make the wheel look bigger than it is and make the wheel stick out from the guard more, even though the offet is the same. Visual illusion. To off set this an e46 m3 can pull off this because it has large guards where as a none m couldnt. my old car in 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear with 18inch centre and 19inch barrels 20x8.5 front 20x10 rear centre and barrels An e9x series car balance point is 20 inch. An e39 is 19inch inch although it can look the same with 18inch and the right wheel.

Correct those are 20inch Work Rezax II's. Unfortunately theyre not made any more and you cant get them new. Joseph (use to own Work-Wheels NZ importer) bought in 3 or 4 sets into the country and they all ended up on these e46 M3s .. this is one of them. Rays wheels on HELLM3 are Work VSXX which you can still buy new. Yongxi still has my old Rezax II's in 19inch, non m3 fitment (et38) etc. That car use to have the number plate 'GTR M3' and has had a lot of money spent on it. The paint is amazing in person. I remember when it was forsale the first time for 6 figures ... 44g's is a steal for what it is and you could probably shave a few off that price being a dealer and all.

If your after a filter that is 'lifetime' and reusable go with the K&N, If your happy replacing filter every second service then that’s fine too. No real performance gains will be realised going with K&N unless your stock filter is dirty. Pod filters only work well if they're associated with cold air box or some sort of physical separation from hot engine bay air.

I wouldnt worry about any sideway comments .. all of us can see through them. Good luck with the sale. Will make a good track/race car project for someone! If not will be great for someone who's DIY minded for a road car.

yeah, sorta figured that after I looked at it again .. however these are coloured for print. Print you need to push the colours else it looks quite dull. Anyways, was a good test of some new methods i'm using now. Cheers for the comments. PS, these photos where taken on my Samsung Galaxy s2 ... The colouring was done in photoshop. Not a DSLR in sight. My favourite is the last one, as its the m ost balanced light wise.
