Got heaps of leftover E30 parts if anyone's after anything. Will put rough prices but all gotta go else it's getting thrown in the skip so feel free to offer. Front guards (both sides) - mostly straight but bottom was used as a jack point by previous owners so slightly bent but easily fixed. Painted in a metallic purple colour. -$20 each. Coupe passenger Rear Quarter window - NON-OPENING. Includes all rubbers etc. -$40. Coupe Drivers Side Rear Quarter Window - This side does open, however it's missing the screw part. Only the window/trim part, not all rubbers. Was stuck on with adhesive by previous owners and opened/closed fine. -$30. E30 M3 Evo style fibreglass front lip. SOLD PENDING SALE E30 boot lip spoiler. Original bolt on lip. SOLD PENDING SALE E30 side indicators (orange). Pics on guards above. -$10 for both. Side mirrors - old paint is mostly all peeled off. Could be good to peel the rest off and leave them trim color, or have them repainted. -$10 for both. Fog light covers. $10 for both.

Still available? I assume they'll fit on my old coupe rails? I'll take them! Feel free to contact me on 0211001550.

After a few things to get my project on the road. All parts to suit a PFL 1987 E30 Coupe. Front windscreen + rubber seals + chrome strip (will be painted so don't care about the condition of the chrome). E30 Angel Eyes. Decent condition front seats (prefer black fabric/leather). PFL front valance (only need it for the strip below the grills, the rest will be cut off). Spare wheel + boot carpet. Ideally around Auckland, but can travel if someone has the majority of these for a decent price.

Hi, I'm after the a fuel pump replay to suit a 1987 BMW E30 M10B18. Must be the 7 pin relay, currently has Seimens 1286727 - 5WK2221 installed so after one with the same numbers. Need this urgently, ideally pick up tonight, or tomorrow morning around Auckland. Please text on 0211001550.

It's not for sale Steve, just posting an update.

I replaced that hose and didn't appear to be any leaks but will check it again. Thanks, will try get my hands on a voltage meter and check it.

Not sure if anyone's interested but here it is in it's current form. Forgot to post much of the inbetween, but a lot of work was gone into it to get it running and looking how it is now, but pretty happy with how it is. Competed in a season of the NZ Superlap Series, plus drove it to and from all the tracks without any problems. Was lucky enough to have Racing Ray Williams drive it at the final round, who gave me a few pointers on things to improve, but loved driving it. Just picked up a new project, so this will be staying pretty much as is, although I'll put the interior back in now.

Hi there, I've done a lot of research and found lot of dead end threads on this topic but hoping someone can shed a bit of light on my situation. Long story short, My BMW E30 with a M10B18 engine stalls about a second after it starts when the engine is cold. Doesn't matter how much throttle I'm using, or none at all, it will always stall. I've noticed I can unplug the Air Flow Meter, and the car will run very rough and will die with no throttle, but will enable me to drive it for a short distance, enough to warm up the engine. After a couple minutes of driving without the Air Flow Meter plug attached, I will feel the car loose power. After that happens I plug the Air Flow Meter back in and the car runs perfectly fine, as if nothing ever happened. My original thought was it must be a broken Air Flow Meter or Sensor. I replaced that, same thing. While replacing that, I noticed a few small cracks in the intake piping coming to the Air Flow Meter so replaced that too. Same thing kept happening. Thought it could be a fuel pump/filter issue. I had a mechanic come around to take a look at it, The old filter was clean (only replaced last year which was only 2-300km's ago), and according to the mechanic, the fuel pump is pumping as it should, and the fuel is clean etc. He then suggested possibly the replacement Air Flow Meter could also be no good. This time I made sure I went to HellBM to get another Air Flow Meter, cleaned that one all up with some AFM cleaner, plugged it all back together and same problem again. The car in question has around 123,000km's on the clock and has barely been driven the past 5 years we've owned it, however would start and drive perfectly every time up until this started happening a few weeks ago. My question is, anyone have any idea on what could be the problem, and what to check next? Could there be a leak somewhere I can't see that is causing this?

I'd be keen if it wasn't for the price. $180 for a one day is a bit steep considering Chrome was $130 for two days. Might come down as a spectator to look though!

Bump, still looking.

Thanks Jon, let me know when you find out and what prices you're after.

Anyone have a diamonschwartz drivers side front guard for sale? To fit a 1989 4 door E30. Also after a Glove Box Latch. Looking at picking up this weekend if possible around the Auckland Area.

Because my current steel one has a tech1 lip on and would rather not take that off. And this way if what I want to do works, I won't need to get another one, whereas if it works on a steel one, I'd still need to get another fibreglass one to do it on.
-
Thanks for that. Already have a contact lined up for a new one (Ash), but ideally after a second hand one for now as it's just to test fit my new evo wing and don't want to ruin a new lid if it goes wrong.
-
Anyone have a spare E30 fiberglass boot lid lying around? Possibly one of the E30 racers? I know there's someone selling on trademe, but I'm after one without the lip, and would rather try my luck with a second hand one first as I want to experiment a bit with it, before ruining a new one! Preferably around the Auckland Area.

New wheels weigh less than half what the old ones were so I'm happy with that. Currently has a set of Rota RKR's with Westlake Sport RS Semi's fitted so looking forward to seeing how that handles now.

Was this the one you're thinking of? Unless it's a different Marcus.

Nice colour! I was looking at getting my E30 done in something similar when it comes to getting the bodywork done later this year. I'll definitely try see it at the show.

Test drive two went a bit better. Managed to get it out on the track for a couple sessions at Thunder in The Park at Pukekohe last weekend. Lots of room for improvement, so next step is getting full nolathane bush replacements, some exaust work, light weight rims and a decent set of tyres.
-
First track day at Hampton was over before it started! Let's hope things go a bit better this weekend at Pukekohe.
-
Nice tidy coupe and good write up too!
-
Thats for tech 2 but managed to find the right parts number on that website, thanks!
-
Has proper plates, those were older photos! Excuse all the bug splatters, but anyone know where I can get those two plastic covers that go over the bumper bolts either side of the number plate? I'd assume I need to go through BMW but not exactly sure what to call them!
-
Finally got it back on the road after three months in pieces. Time to take it to a couple track days to see what needs to be improved before it's off to get a cage later in the year.

Have replied to your PM, thanks!
