Thanks guys yep it definitely is a minter and I assure you all that it will remain that way. 1st Biggest stress - bar exams, ever... And I can assure you there was a WHOLE lot more today... But anyway thats all over now I'm just enjoying it. Really is mint, hopefully I'll see some of you guys this year at some meets. BTW Will : Checked on the block and it is a 1.6. Not 1.8 as one member suggested. And no bling. Prehaps only a bimmersport sticker on the rear and some Cooke Howlison BMW plate surrounds. And a BMWCC membership sticker when it comes. I'm kinda banned from it tonight haha... Ah well its getting dark anyway. Cheers Em

Aaaaand thats it Lol I'm getting so much sh*t from the guys in the workshop... walking around with phones on my shoulders doing work talking to insurance companies and parents and mates etc lol. And now I know what the teachers meant back at primary school -If you have a dream, no matter how big, now matter how "unattainable" then go for it, work hard, save hard and do it.

Hey Guys Finally, after 2 months struggle I now own the car. It really has been an uphill battle and sooo many people have been involved and I really am grateful. I've got a whole list of issues with it but its mint & at least I know! Beter to find out now rather than later on down the track. Haha I didn't get that much sleep last night... Wowee exciting.Have to work today too so when the cars here at 1 I cant get here till 6!

Maybe.. maybe not, but its fricken mint anyway. The BMW technician said to look after it and It'll hold value over the years.

Well, I'm the proud new owner of a E30.I'm not excited or anything ,just releived.But I guess im modest too Got it for $2800, needs cambelt ASAP. He obliged to that price - strange as hell because he wouldn't budge from $3250 2 days ago. I guess some things are worth fighting for and dreams do come true, If you are willing to work for them. Man thats deep but its true. I'd just like to thank Will,Graeme,Andy,Kerry,Paul,Martyn,Rog,Charlie Fox,318iSCoupe,Suilver Fox,Oldskool, and everyone who has helped one way or another. Especially Will. He's been one of the driving forces of this purchase, and I'm forever grateful.And thanks to Lyndon for selling it to me, cheers bud, even though you won't be reading this. Handover is 1pm tommorow so will get pics and post them up tommorow night in the rides forum. Fricken yayness. Em.

Not mine yet though Paul! All these ego's are making for a pretty thin-ice skate... Im a bit nervous because its in my parents hands now and I'm not allowed to do anything myself - and I guess if you want something done properly you have to do it yourself. :S I'd like to say that I wouldn't care if the sale falls through, but i tried convincing myself with that before but it didnt work.

Play Cricket and Soccer for my school, 1st XI's Go Running and co-ordinate the school Mountain Biking team, as a XC racer. Go partying, shopping and hanging out with my mates Work on the school website and work on the BMWCC of Otago chapter with Drew. Play the drums in my not-named-yet band But i suspect when i get my E30 I will be playing around... And of course candel-lit dinners on the beach with the Romeos from Otago Boys... *sigh*

Hey Kerry My parents have agreed on giving him the $3000 he wants. I've already told my parents to keep their ego's out of the equation and isolate it only to Emma and the E30. Because after all this there will be no egos, only Emma and the E30 I've got $100 cash in my wallet...no burrowing off anybody thankyou very much.. Always stood on my own two feet and will continue that way.Don't need a deposit... Its going to BMW for a pre-purchase inspection Monday, then the signing of papers and cash handover will occur. But my parents are concrete on having him use his position as Manager to put a cambelt in (Itd cost us a bit more than him for labour, maybe.) I hope he doesn't say "No I've done enough f**k you" type of thing, I'll talk to him before that happens though and just say look I'll give you the $60 for a cambelt, you use your prowess to take labour out of the equation and my parents are happy and you're happy. I'm happy either way lol, I'm sure the service manager would put a cambelt in for me in the weekend though... minimal or no labour, only parts. We'll see how it goes. Thanks Kerry for the advice. Fingers crossed,but right hand only because I was told when I was 7 not to cross both hands, It's never failed me since. But then again i'm just superstitious! Cheers Em.

Of course I want it - Hes come to the party and said $3000 whcih I am certainly willing to pay.My parents don't even want to talk to him now, they will just get me my money (trustee acc) and then I'll sign the papers and negotiate cambelt if it needs doing.... Edit: Lyndon rang about an hour ago. He apologised profusely and sincerley, said that hes selling the car to a girl who hes worked with for a year, has done him favours and who is also a freind and said I can have the car for $3000. So Monday afternoon it is getting booked in for a BMW Pre-purchase inspection. If this goes well (Which im sure it will..flew through WOF yesterday) then the car is mine. Pics will be up in rides section Monday night or Tuesday... HOPING all goes well. God, I am so glad I'm not an adult. So glad. So Im pretty much yay, but Im not 100% yay till the keys are in my hands. I'd just like to thank Will for all his help with this E30, especially taking the time to talk to my parents and explain everything, your help has been very much appreciated, If theres anything I can do fo you (other than a rego holder lol) then just ask. Before Edit: (Just to show the situation 2 hours ago) Ok well just straight up, I didn't buy it. Offered him $3000 but hes absolutely concrete on $3250. He then stated "Its not for sale anyway" So I got taken for a ride for the past 6 weeks of my life, probably a great work relationship is destroyed... But I've learnt a couple of life lessons, god knows how many more are to come.. .... and the E30 hunt goes on. Thanks for all your help guys, I'm still looking for an E30 remember - managed to talk my parents into it, if thats one good thing I've taken out of this event then Im happy.
