I'd hook up an Ipod or something similar. Although in saying that, i saw something about a person putting a laptop in their BMW on Bimmerforums.com, and they hooked it up through the glove box. But yeah get a good brand like Alpine, Clarion, Blaupunkt, Pioneer etc etc Not a Reactor from the Warehouse though arghhh. I also heard that Fusion is made in the same factory as Reactor.. not saying this is true or anything, but can someone please verify?

I'll buy a granny kart thing for ya sparks, like one of this things old people hoon round in. You can buy the M5 badge for it though
-

Happy Birthday eyebrows Oh wait do you have any? Have a good one

Nice car. Looks like a nice straight original M325i. Theres one pretty much the same here in Dunedin too.

Grant = action man."I love explosions" "I love a good shooting"

That is cool, well done.

Sorry Damian, but I think you might want to go back to your $2 hoes :puke:

Link: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-31993768.htm or just type 31993768 into trademe search box.Although 318's are good for the right people, especailly if it just a runabout car or maybe it is just your pride and joy/everydayer For the money your going to spend, it'd make much better sense to buy the top-of-the-line E36 than the base E46, that is, earlier M3 3.0 or 3.2 vs later 318 1.8 But like Gus said its going to cost more to insure etc. And abut that E46, you need to think seriously about those 19" wheels as Dad found out yesterday that the rear tires are past their best before date on the E39 (18" MTECHS) And continetals were going to cost $890+gst each. But then he later found out that other tires at cost price at BMW were going to be $560 each +gst, that is still a helluva lot of money. Otherwise that E46 seems ok. Its MTECH stuff too presumebly kit, steering wheel, suspension, wheels etc.

im sorry for your loss. HAHA f***ing ha! Loss? LOSS? What is this "loss" word you speak of Damian?Mate, that is a gain, well done, love to see some pictures. So you will be considering the Dunedin meet now that you have a BMW? That'll make 3 E30 M325i's there then.

Never though i'd see the day of Mercedes being advertised on a BMW fansite, but i suppose there is a first for everything. Good luck with the sale though. :thumb:

You won't get a 96+ 5 series (above 520i with decent options that is) with 16k, that I can tell you for free. Infact i don't even think you can get a most basic E39 for that.. tell me if i am wrong. So, in saying that, you said a 95-98, and 95 is the final year for E34. For 16k you're likely to get a good 535 or a very good 525.. Cains 540 6 spd he reckons is valued at around 20-25k. But his is a totally different story. So a E34 535 maybe if thats your type of thing.. Otherwise an E36 328 would be cool, perhaps you could get a 95 or 96 coupe for 16k. Emma.

Here it is Cain. Is DCH 540 just coincidence? Or is it D.Ch (Chapman, D Chapman) 540?

Last page. Vital statistics etc

Page 2 Sorry about the crap quality.

Yup - just went down to get my copy as well Great article Cain, excellent pictures. "Was used to trail a track monster" haha I though it was the track monster! Estimated value 20-25k.. I though it would have been more? For those of you who haven't seen it, i've scanned and resized it, so will upload it in a moment, hopefully not killing too much of Andy's bandwidth.
-
Yep, I will have a crack at it, but first i'm off down the street to buy the latest Autocar.

Hmmm reminds me so much of the E36 we used to have. Exactly the same apart from the mags and clears Nice anyway. I agree with the other guys, get white (not clear like the stuff on Trademe) for your indiactors on the side and rear, it improves the visuals a heap and makes your car loook younger (a bit like botox for oldies)
-
Hmm, your Bimmersport profile says you live in Invercargill, yet your Trademe one says you live in Dunedin...
