  1. My Arts lecturer at uni used to show us these type of things at the start of class. It was by far my fav.
  2. Hassle Kerry for a little helper job! You'll know your e30 inside out.
  3. In the steering column under the bottom cover. It's a kind of taller looking relay.
  4. If I can do it. I'm pretty sure you can!
  5. Haha. I was actually just suggesting it as a part time job. I'd much rather work in a bar than at a supermarket. So much more fun than packing shelves. Plus who doesn't like the sneakys? Don't worry Brook. You still live with your parents man. Most parents are pretty supportive. Waste all your money on some rims, and scab off them, you're still young, it's a teens duty. Good luck. You'll probably suss out a job through someone you know. It's not what you know. It's who you know.
  6. Get a bar job man! There were plenty out there when I was living in Hamilton. Always handy to get some bartending skills under your belt.
  7. Can someone help the woman with a link to the supplementary regulations.
  8. I'd much rather see an e92 m3 matt black than an e30. e30's are old enough, making one matt black just makes it look like a sack of sh*t. In this case, this m3 looks staunch!!
  9. There is nothing like the sound of an m60b40.
  10. Ha! Without the alloys...$450. Funny how when you work with them all day you actually get to know most aren't worth much anymore...Well anything that has a m10 anyway! edit. Especially auto.
  11. I spit on any engine apart from BMW ones.I just was quite taken aback, as he had put so much effort into it, especially as he had 5 other nissans in his garage. He told me it was his first BMW. Ha. Not really a BMW if you ask me anymore.
  12. If you're having an bad day guys, go have a laugh at this site. http://www.peopleofwalmart.com
  13. Whilst loading Mike's wagon onto car trailer this afternoon coming from the the panelbeaters on Rylock Place in Howick we spotted a pretty interesting project race e36 so we went to have a nosy. I didn't get any phone pics as I felt a little rude. It was an e36 coupe, with the widest guards I have seen! The guy happily showed us under the bonnet...oh what do you know. A rb20 turbo. He drove past a little later and it sounded real quiet, marks in my books. Was definately a highlight in my afternoon.
  14. I feel a great deal of hate for the uneven centre caps. Did the BBS ones on the left side fall off?
  15. sounds like they have supplied you the wrong fuel pump. You need the taller type . shorter type wont work top pump shows the pump you need it to look like bottom shows the type that will not go in your car. (even if connections match up)
  16. You may not realise this but there are two types of fuel pumps, PFL and FL are slightly different, the PFL are only a transfer pump and run at low pressure and they need and inline pump to build the pressure up. Was the pump you replaced it with identical? The physical motor size is different between the PFL and FL so it's easy to tell.
  17. I actually picked a random member off Bimmersport who lived in Auckland. Haha. Nar. Mike and I did some detective work on Facebook.
  18. Don't let the boys scare you away, they have scared away every girl apart from Shelley and I! Next Bimmersport drinkies you should come along, it's always cool to meet chicks who have good taste in cars. A warm welcome from me. Ditch the Honda. You'll never, ever look back!
  19. This looks absolutely FAB. I love the "french" yellow headlights. Hopefully I get to see it driving about.
  20. I don't think anything needs to be changed. There is no need for a DIY section. Project section does the job just fine. There are quite a few projects I regularly check in with - Incarny's and Riley's, and others which I can't think of off the top of my head as it's too early in the morning, but they are a damn good read, and have taught me along the way. Some project threads, just don't do it for me, especially if it's done too overboard DIY and end up looking tacky and sh*t. Or if it shows work that makes the car unwarrantable. I think some of you should stop having a cry, if you want members to check up with your project regularly, as Simon said, just keep on updating it and adding new images and write ups! That isn't so hard is it. Ching. My 2c.
  21. Hahaha.Good ol' town "late" dinners.
