    Cupid.com

I'm going to agree. Older members would know why.
  2. A few months ago a mate wanted to grab something out of my boot so I gave her my keys, expecting her to use my remote to unlock the car and open the boot by grabbing the lever/sensor above the numberplate, but of course she used my key in the boot lock, couldn't get it open so opened it from the button in the drivers seat area. Now, I can't open my boot by touching the lever/sensor above my numberplate, I have to open it with the button in the drivers seat area. I remember someone mentioning a year or so ago about how turning the key in sequence deadlocks the boot? Any knowledge or links would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I guess it's very typical for anyone to say this about the area they live in but... Why Tauranga? There are so many more beautiful places to go to avoid the sheer delight of being stuck in traffic jams during the New Year time. To the Mercs for me, in search of fish, crays and scallops.

    E39 Love

I'm glad I kept my e39, even if it is a 2 out of 10.
  5. Don't do it. It's a womans car. If you buy one, people will look at you and instantly think "poof".
  6. Oh my god. You guys! That pos is his pride and joy. I almost can conclude, if everything else doesn't work to fix something, a rangi mod will just have to do. Or more commonly seen on Bimmersport - if you can't afford it/can't be bothered, rangi mods are the way to go. Seem a few too many rangi mods gone bad, in the end the car always ends up getting fixed properly.
  7. All I can say is Good On Ya Simon! These males are just jealous. Soon you'll be modelling for Postie Plus and Ezibuy!
  8. Thanks guys, sneaked on here to see if Bimmersport remembered me, been a busy body recently. Had a gorgeous lunch at Kinloch today, poor e39's rear guards got a little warm with the family packed in the back.
  9. 3.4 million between two hookers over nine years?!?! Atleast he enjoyed it whilst the nine year period lasted I guess.
  10. I couldn't believe how many e30s were driving around the North Shore area yesterday. A few nice tech 2's.
  11. How old is she? 12? She looks it.
  12. Good stuff man! $250 is too smaller target!
  13. Drove past an FL grey? e30 coupe on Chapel street in Tauranga yesterday. So sure it had a bimmersport banner across the top of the windscreen. Or maybe I'm seeing things.
  14. Well. If she has her heart set on it, let her buy one, and let her learn from her mistakes. Personally they are most possibly the uglyiest verts I've seen. Tell her she can do better than something as cheap as those.

    BMW M3 raffle

Isn't it amazing what a few drinks can do to spark ideas. Very clever idea.
  16. Mean man bag? I'd use it as a daily.

    Matts e30 Touring

This is going to be interesting. I'm keeping an eye on this. For obvious reasons. Good luck man.
  18. One to top my list. A Honda City. I feared for my life. From the minute I sat down in the drivers seat. What a death trap. I also felt extremely embarassed. And a little on the cramped side. Oh and a Daihatsu Sirion/Sewing Machine.
  19. That's what she said. Hahaha.Given it a clean yet?
  20. Haha! Good laugh. He sure knows how to generalise. Black cars look so much nicer. Shows if the driver really looks after their car too.
  21. You still have to weigh up the odds Mike. Think about how many customers are sweet and are a pleasure to deal with. Every company has to deal with assholes. Your Dad would surely reassure you that. You can win some fights, I've seen that. I guess some who pick up parts just assume they can treat you like a dumb ass cos' Synthe looks small. That gearbox dude ended up coming back after the fight with an apoligy. If you don't chuck it in (I really think that'd be a shame if you did) look into ways of avoiding messes. Like having a little agreement which the buyer has to sign. Maybe start getting those guys in Manukau to check out your gearboxes before you sell them, and get them to write out proof that they're fine? So the buyer doesn't have a leg to stand on. They'll stop their bitching and moaning. Most did which I saw when I was working for Synthe. Good Luck.
  22. Rusko has been my favourite ever since I found him a few years ago. edit. Mum hates it when 2 N A Q comes on in the car. HAHA.
