I don't mind buying cd's but the plethora of sh*t that has been released has caused me to change the way i buy cd's... I tend to download the complete album, and if i like more than 2-3 songs on it, i'll buy the cd. But i HATE wasting my money on buying a cd for 1 or 2 songs with the rest of the album a complete thing of poo... also what happened to the 4-5 minute songs? 60min albums???

i'd recommend tho doing a dyno run with gavin before you start modifing the car so you have a baseline for you mods... Gavin charges about $100 or so for the run. A club dyno day can get the cost lower... if someone wants to arrange one

there are a lot of different things that vary a tune. Fuel Quality, Mod's, Temprature, Wear, etc... A powerchip/superchip/etc... are a stock map made for a generic upgrade, it doesn't account for NZ's fuel/Conditions when it's done... I know a friend had a chip sent from japan for his mivec that all the jap boys raved about, and in nz where the fuel isn't as good it made his car run like crap! A custom tune is typically always going to be better as it will account for the state of the car / conditions that the car is in. Someone smarter than me can fill you in on more details...Â

It's just appeasing people that don't know there are already laws that cover all of it... My biggest concern is the fact things like Beach Hop, Club Cruises, Photoshoot sessions, etc... now fall under this. There was always the unlawful gathering act that could be used on people gathering in an area like a carpark so it's no biggie for that but it's the drive days that had me concerned... As long as your not impeeding traffic flow you should be ok...

thats just part of the reply i got...

The definition of 'cruising' given in the Bill is: "driving repeatedly over the same section of a road in a motor vehicle in a manner that- (a) draws attention to the power or sound of the engine of the motor vehicle being driven; or ( creates a convoy that- (i) is formed otherwise than in trade; and (ii) impedes traffic flow." The 'anti-cruising' bylaws are aimed at reducing the noise, intimidation and disruption caused by illegal street racers who repeatedly use the same streets. Often this happens late at night or in the early hours of the morning, creating a disturbance for residents and businesses in the area. Road controlling authorities will have the power to specify which streets will be covered by a bylaw, as weil as the times of the day that the bylaw will apply. These bylaws are not intended to penalise genuine car enthusiasts taking part in legitimate activities. This matter will be scrutinised by Select Committee to ensure that there are no unintended negative consequences for legitimate motorists. If you have an established relationship with the dealership, you might try talking to the head of sales about seeing if they would help out. Give they know you, they might be willing to help out. -

got an older family member that looks respectable? Go to the bmw dealership and take a silver 5 series for a test drive... spin a load about liking it but needing to talk to the partner... Then call back a few hours later asking if you could have it for an afternoon to get a good feel for the car. Mention that saturday your out of town and would it be possible for Sunday.... -
Sure it's not an 850

we had a 6 month battle with Telstraclear about our internet connection quality, who wholesaled from telecom in Wiri. Telstraclear ended up installing a very nice wireless connection setup for us free of charge...
