haha yes they are... i'm thinking about removing the steering lock, and relocting the key as it was smacking into my knee when driving, and i've already turned the car off and had the steering lock mid corner in anouther car before... Also thinking i need to duct some serious air onto the brakes as with the 15's there isn't much room for the air to flow over the brake. So the alloy wheel is getting damm hot, which is driving up the tyre pressure...

you need to arrange a beer and pizza sesion with some of the more tech people here... don't sell... I've been through the same things with the 205, fix one thing to find 200 more unknown things... I've spent many a weekend wondering what the 205 will look like crushed as a bird bath...

Nah, too many things to now buy... and way way to broke this month now... Looking at $70 for new keys to be cut as i've lost the keys to the racecar.... whoo... =;-( Cam's right they are lightweights... I think the cars about 850kg but yet to weight it or have it on corner scales... i'm 106kg so ya... not so lightweight...

just a quick question... How much $$$ are you looking to finish the project? You might find your better off finishing it and then selling it as it would appeal to a larger group of buyers... and a better $ for sale...

HELL YEAH! averaged 15.8 ltrs per 100km in the v8 explorer (loaded up) with the racecar on the trailer for the whole trip... Auckland to Hamilton to Taupo and back... Still about 100kph most of the way...

Broken: Speedo Cable, Bump Stops Lost: Race Car Car Keys... Racecar is still on the trailer in the garage (thankfully it fit).... wasn't a nice surprise when getting back from Taupo at 8:45pm. Best time around track 2 was 1:26.46 or something like that... i had a passenger at the time... I could have done alot better, but with 3x 4 lap stints it was hard to get use to the car and refine driving... I could shave a good 2-3 seconds off that time. I was over driving the car, and carrying way to much corner speed... Also was having traction issues coming out of the corners... Problems Identified: Susupension = TOO DAMM SOFT! Gear Shifting = Can't tell when i'm in 3rd gear... i can't feel it engage at all with the clutch pushed in! Shifted into 5th a bunch of times... so lost a fair bit of time wondering if i was actually in 3rd or not... Had a few epic loses but recovered them all... In saying that i had no confidence in the car at the start so it was good... First session was in the wet so that was interesting... new track, new car, no confidence... In the dry when checked the tyre pressures... Dunlop semi slicks: Fronts: cold = 28psi hot = 40+ psi <--- guage max.. Rears: Cold = 28 psi Hot = 38psi The gearing is all messed up for the track also.. i think it's going to be great for hill climbs but either on the limiter basically in 2nd or bogged in 3rd for most of the corners... Not making excuses, i know i could have driven much better... just making comments on the day... before all you haters start in..

also has dyno dynamics on the print out

It was more of a question/statement... not an attack... It's not cut and dry and it never will be... I've watched the video's of the "explosions just before the plane crashes into the buildings" and i have to say, the footage is soo zoomed and crap quality you can't really see anything - there is soo much room for speculation it's not funny... And thats all anyone is doing, speculating as to it was them, it was those people, nooo it was aliens (yes there is a video saying aliens did it). Governments SUCK at keeping secrets, and so do most people for that matter... If you think of the number of people, the planning, the logistics involved if it was in a government run agenda... There would just be too many people to contain the secret for any length of time... You can't trust much of what you don't see with your own eyes now days, photo and video editting are too advanced and anyone can edit anything to make it seem like it was something different... Media is hugely influenced by person views of those reporting, and yes we have it here also... I like the generalisation of America when it's put into use to make a point... I think we really should say Bush lead government or Nixon lead government... As with all nations the actions and views of the government are heavly dictated by those in command at the time... Could you imagine what NZ would be like if Winston Peters was running the government during his anti-immigration period, or what it would be like if the Greens ran the government (who wanted to ban Motorsports and cars over 7 years old). need to finshing preping for tomorrow...

Take it you haven't see the tests that have been done in vac. to try and prove this right? The biggest problem i've got with anything like a doco or movie about "IT WASN"T REAL!" blah blah... Is they are sooo one sided it's not funny... I can't be bothered watching them as it typically just pisses me off... I want a balanced view looking at everything not --- THE REAL EVENTS OF XYZ! - YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TOO!!! the title alone makes me just go blah conspiracy crap... Science & Facts is what i want! It's hard to trust photos and video's as we all know how damm easy it is to doctor/edit.... The actual events of the "attack" will never be known... It's like asking why someone killed someone and then killed themselves... It's not like we can ask them and go... hmm what where you thinking? Why did you do that? Ohh he farted and didn't say sorry... not that your a physco... I love it when people start bring up old documents from the government, and go LOOK THEY PLANNED TO ATTACK THE COUNTRY!... It's the same when software security companies use to have competitions to see if anyone could hack their systems... Yes there are people inside the government who's job it is to plan and theorize about attacking the government from within, and when those documents are released without context it makes it look like there was a planned event...

I'd be more incline to say fools that can't drive...

hehe most people think the 205 is a toyota starlet... Had some legend ask me if it was turbo... No was it 4wd... No... ahhh so its not that quick then... - Nah not really, have a nice day... I love all the people that there just for dyno racing, and 1/4 mile times...

?????? dyno dynamics is printed on the sheet... My car made 135hp@wheels at torque performance and 122 hp @ wheels at Hi Velcoity... 1 month differance and no mod's made...

Call some of the jap wreakers... they import cars for parts and some have some nice wheels on them... pretty cheap normally... i've been offered some speedline 5 spokes from a wreaker in CHCH for $350
-
Yup... Bolt is very stretched... Been replaced and now nyloc'd in place... Oil Leaks = Cam Seals, Rocket Cover, Sump... Sump Leaks = Seal, and small hole in weld where custom sump meets original sump... Sump is going to be removed, cleaned, sent to get re-welded... 6 Bar Peugeot Sport Oil Pressure pump spring will be installed also. Just what you want 2 days before first race day... but i guess this is typical....
