if you ever get seen speeding way over the limit, ask to see the radar. without proof what can they do? the have to do you for an exact speed they can't guess your speed that's bullsh*t

yours gets better than mine Louis, always has. my e30 320i 200km is costing me 30-40$ round town.. but chch never has bad traffic, and i drive like a Nana. if i put my foot down though i can watch the fuel disappear. but for your 318i, the fuel doesn't sound too bad.. but i think as everyone says check out the fuel smell when on a full tank. [edit] i use 98 or 95.. but my local only has 98 so usualy that

i am 95% sure it is the timing. get it done anyway it's cheap as.. you could probably do it yourself? [edit] when you drive it flat foot it stops at 4k? what happens if you are driving it and it gets to where it is limiting itself and really slightly have your foot on the accelerator but enough to speed up does it go past 4k even just a bit?

i have heard of this problem before. i'd agree with op6 here sounds like the timing.

i got questioned on my car. e36 manual 325i "is it legal? seems a bit loud?" it was the stock exhaust and he said he saw this car speeding a bit.. dads car haha. me and my test guy had a chat about rugby ( i have no clue about rugby) and 15 minutes later i was done!

i like driving up the hill, i don't take the e30 up much but a turbo s15 and i find it more fun going up.. in the e30, downs more fun haha get more speed. but you're driving is seriously impressive haha but i knew that after ruapuna that day.
