It is smaller but with hot water and some effort they will do for the short term. 325 intake boots can be had for around $80 from Cooke Howlison in Dunedin, well thats what they cost last year in CHC.

i always see this guy! and we always stare at each others cars. quite a mint looking e30 for what little appears to be done to it.. he really pulls those wheels off.

don't track it.. somone just needs to dare touch it.. it can be road legal.. and it's always worth bringing an e30 back.

seems pretty fair in my opinion.. maybe put the e30 m3 closer to the top.. i dunno if it is me but e30's are not only so awesome looking but (not the best car) but the funnest car i have ever driven. i have driven pretty much every factory bmw that would go through a dealership and by far the most fun is the e30. glad it was the top of all the other bmw's.. i'm pretty biased though. that's probaly because i just went for a hoon in mine and i'm pretty happy. sorry to rant.

ahh didn't realize i had done that. yeah it is a 316 sorry. but i could easily put a 318 in it.. maybe i should look for a shell and put an engine in it one weekend.. i cant bike... i have trouble getting up for work as it is, if i had to get up half an hour earlier!

good luck man! try other places than trademe like a nice one you see on the side of the road leave a note and you never know.. owner might not know what it is worth and you'll be away laughing.. anyway you have ages to search , take your time and good luck i'll give you a shout if i hear of anything nice.

yeah i will sadly admit though.. it was auto and de reged.. but it flew through all that and i manual'd it for 500 and all up re reg cost 500 mainly for replacing the rear drum brakes with discs. but with this 318 i can do any work that it needs myself that is why i am so tempted.. having the steering rack on the left side also leaves a lot of room in the engine bay where i want it.

i did the same as apex except on accident. but i'm happy with it to stay rooted rather than replace it and ruin it again.
