i did a complete overhaul of my suspension mostly the front and you can order parts from stocks and it's fairly siple to do yourself. front control arm complete with ball joints (inner and outer) $100 ea control arm bushings $approx $50 for 2 tie rods now only come as a whole unit (inner an outer) $ not sure approx $50 ea front bearings if they need to be replaced can be got from skf or saeco at $150 each if you know how to bargain. new shocks and springs we all know how much these cost (i recomend doin this as you will enjoy driving yur car 100% more. yes the water pump is a relatively cheap fix, while it's off why not change the cambelt? if it needs doing. one weekend and your rocking. change all fluids and flush cooling system. while everything is apart machine brake discs (20 bucks each max) change pads if needed and do any other small things. the end result, driving pleasure edit: for e30, my bad, cant be too dissimilar

jap cars (not the new ones) feel plastic to drive, all my jap driving mates who have driven my car first found it difficult then commented on how much more of a car it felt like to drive.starting a kid on an e30 is the perfect recipe it is an icon as far as modern cars are concerned. the engineering is simple and robust. having an e30 and fixing it yourself etc.. is all as important as learning to drive a car (for males) understanding how a car works by pulling it apart and in the process learning how much of a terrible asset a car is can be the most valuable lesson. key word here 'SOULESS' out of all the cars i've driven the e30 feels right, tough, safe, and my peace of mind when hitting the rev limiter with one rear wheel spinning round a corner is fantastic because i know the car loves it.

why the f**k don't they just educate our youth better and teach them how to be considerate towards others and use their common sense, if they have no common sense after trying to teach them for over a year then lock them up or give the death penalty before the have a chance to f**k up cos you know they will. also 95% of aftermarket exhausts are put on by a professional, but ... is there a law restricting what they can put on someones car without having a special race certification? prevention from having loud cars in the first place would be a far better way of reducing exhaust noise and ... i'm not too sure why after over a year of the warrant of fitness exhaust tests there are still noisy cars out there???

cheers for the offer Cain, however it would be preferable to have one device that does the lot (smartphone), also i'd prefer windows mobile over palm software. p.s; what can you tell me about lotus notes.

the i mate kjam is the best phone you can buy at the moment, it has full pda functionality and is no larger than your standard nokia but it's only available on vodafone which like has been said has not so good line quality and calls drop. telecoms equivilant is the apache which is like 3 times the size. arghh i think i'll stay with telecom, what do you guys think of the nokia 6255, 6265. i think these are the only decent phones on telecom with bluetooth connectivity. the main reason for wanting a new phone is to sync it with outlook.

When will the telecommunications industry in new zealand unbundle and open up for smaller players so that we can stop paying a million times more than anywhere else for phone and internet! for phone and internet that is of shite quality also! CAN ANYONE HELP ME? is it possible to convert a gsm phone into a cdma one to be used on the telecom network? the reason is that the pricing plans are much cheaper. obviously gsm network is better and so are the phones available however with vodafone i'd pay twice as much to get the same thing. i want to upgrade to a pda the one i want is the imate jam (GSM) am i pointlessly bitching about a problem that i cannot do anything about?

with the pump on the block i undo at the pump end the hose that goes from the bottom of the radiator to the pump and aim it to the ground then use a hose and pump water through from the reservior or the reservior hose if you want to take it off and clean it. there is also a bleed/overflow valve of some kind that has to be undone i cant remember exact details .. but you get the gist.
