cheers guys. one more thing, i need a live wire thats on when the car is on, (not just when the lights are on). i found the window inhibitor switch in my box of parts but can't figure out where to hook it up to, unless it is not the problem.

Ok just a few quick questions that need to be resolved urgently in my pre f/l E30. what are the common causes of the following to help me narrow it down to the root of the problem. electric windows not working. window wipers not working. also i am wiring some gauges into my dash where is the best place to wire in an earth and wire in a live to the lighting circuit? and don't just say in the bundle of wires behind the ignition

3 pedals summed it up well. it's very sad to see that prodrive can't continue because of funding, man it winds me up the stupidity of this government when it comes to road safety. I tried to get in touch with LTSA etc to discuss how car clubs such as bimmersport can help with educating so called 'boy racers' because they are more likely to listen to what clubs say that what the ads on TV or the police say. but ... after being transfered to about 10 different people i gave up, it's bollocks.

everybody needs to settle down and stop winding each other up. It's summertime everyone should be happy. on that note ... back on topic I would have thought that it wouldn't be an easy task transplanting these newer engines with all their sensors and gizmos that the need to run. Would you strip it right down to the bare mechanics and run a link type setup? and even then how easy would it be? are the days of DIY new engine swaps diminishing?

you should all have a speed bump race! you have to go over 60km/hr, whoever gets the furthest or at least over the first one without getting stuck or breaking their sh*t wins.

i like them both equally, the choice is yours. whatever you do do not get them any larger than 17", please get them in 16" for E30!
