  1. Hello, I am searching for a broken nokia 6288 so that i can poach the screen from it, there must be some around that people think are not worthy of putting on trademe because they don't work. email: [email protected] or ph: 027 544 8699 or if anyone has an idea where to get one let me know.
  2. very nice, you must be happy with your purchase.
  3. BNT kits for E30 MC's are wrong by the way so basically they don't have a kit for E30 MC's. Go to a specialist hydraulic workshop, Ronnie at brake and clutch hydraulics in glenfield will sort you with the right seals
  4. i've always rekitted the clutch masters myself, A) because it's cheaper than a new one, because I know its going to work properly and C) because I stick a slightly thicker spring in because I have broken 2 before, they tend to get brittle and snap in half. What makes it more frustrating is that the 2 bolts holding the MC in are freakin hard to get to and fiddly as hell to line up, especially with a seat in the car.

  7. haha there is some serious sh*t stirring going on here. Everyone loves a good moan now and then don't they ...
  8. says the car was driven by peter robinson, thats not Peter Robinson from the BMWCC is it?
  9. only brake 2 or 3 times round puke and races are only 8 laps, near impossible to boil even standard fluid let alone hi temp stuff, therefore i'd say changing it after every meet is a bit overkill, although in theory you should do it after every meet but it gets pricey heh.
  10. easiest way is to collect a few ice cream containers, every time you undo a line, stick one underneath to catch the fluid that drains out.
  11. yes the K&N panels are really good for road cars, more affordable too. keep it clean though.
  12. nice one graham, good to see some repping!

  17. So it's been a long while since i have updated this, i have been too busy getting the car going for next weekends racing, have also been busy Christmas and work. I started the engine for the first time yesterday and took the car for a short drive. Today I had my new exhaust fitted and it sounds TOUGH! I still have a few bits and bobs to sort out but hopefully will be at practice next friday and competitive over the course of the weekend. photos and full article still to come. Ollie
  18. sounds like gangs are back in force this year, either that or everyones taken too much p over the festive season and now they're all angry and violent. I hope these recent violent attacks blow over, otherwise the 'FEAR' could stick around and thats another notch away from NZ's normally safe environment where you can walk along milford beach in the dark without getting hit with a baseball bat and soon we'll all be carrying guns for safety.

  20. 12 bands x 12 barrels per rotor = 288 rounds. the only thing that had me stumped was the 12 bands causing the firing mechanism to stick, obviously they don't though because all the tension is in the right direction anyway. i want one now!
