Add professional design to these websites and they would go for over $2000 ea. Another thing to consider is what copy you want on the site and whether you can provide good copy or want a copywriter to write it for you, which is another cost.
  4. Welcome to the site! quite a few guys here in NZ have done the SR20DET E30 swap with great success, poke around the forums to see the threads they have started. off the top of my head these people have done it.... Darren Naughty BMW ...can anyone add to the list

I can help you with this Grant, as far as the content management thing goes I still havent made a decision on what is the best solution, but we can definitely work something out for you. just a point to note, a content managed website will almost triple the cost of it but the benefits normally outweigh that. can provide a GST invoice and a professional site, that most importantly works and brings results! give me a call for a chat if you'd like 027 544 8699
  7. Welcome - Sweet looking car, worth looking after. Scruge McDuck was one of my favourites back in the day (the tv show ducktales - not the original)

heat transfer technology is pretty good these days, and with the small runs we do it's the best value.

sweet, I'm not much of a ladies fashion guru, less clothes the better really.
  12. nah not a member, we might try it next year, i've heard that it is not really worth it for what you get, but i haven't tried it yet so can't make that call.
  13. portfolio is key, online portfolio and on a CD is pretty essential these days also.browse through the dinz website for potential leads and ideas. www.dinz.org.nz there are heaps of graphic design jobs out there, you need to decide what it is you'd prefer to do. in house designer, work for an agency, freelance (which you can do on the side of a sustained income anyway). also ask yourself "do i want to end up specialising in print or in visual/web?" it's hard to be a wizard at both. I'll keep you in mind Chris when jobs come up, i'm actually on the hunt for a 3D photo renderer/animator to work with, good contract opportunity if anyone is interested.
  14. their terms and conditions of trade will clearly state that it is your responsibility, if they give you replacement oil etc it is good service. if there is damage to your engine don't expect anything from them.
  15. bummer. I had a similar thing happen to me, the Ryco filter from repco that is meant to go on E30s is really sh*t, the rubber ring seal is positioned so that it's have up against the block and half over the edge of the 'surface' where the seal is meant to be on. This split the rubber seal and the car leaked plenty of oil. Luckily i noticed it on the driveway and took the filter back, got 4 litres of oil and a refund on the filter.
