New rack ends and ball joints showed up this am along with new foam backed fabric for the door cards(only $20 per 1m x 1.5, so worth doing)

Been tracking down parastic battery drain, removed half my dash and disablded aftermarket alarm. In the end it seems to be the boot light drawing around 0.7 amps. Chucked in a LED bulb and its down to around 0.1 with just the boost open....hmmm, time will tell

You can't just cut it out, it needs to be disabled in the ECH software. All pressure and temp sensors need to be working and in place also. If you need more info flick me a PM. I deal with DPF failures in many makes

I had to clean my entire Black A3 with white spirits due to tar from road works, paint work felt like 80 grit. The white spirits worked perfectly.

White spirits, wipe it on, leave for 5 mins and wipe off!

Thinking about rear diffs for when i go manual, would like a LSD of some sort. What ratio would suit the car? 3.15? Best to just grab a M3 diff(seem to be $900 on trademe)?

Bit of rust on the front of the sun roof, will get media blasted where the rust is and primer it tomorrow. New tyres are on, ICS valve and throttle body cleaned this arvo. Off for new discs, pads and a WOF tomorrow.

Weight loss Found this perished hose under the intake manifold, went from some canister to the sump. Only happened to find it due to it leaving a large pile of oil on the driveway. Cut it shorter for the time being, will get some new hose later in the week.
