Yeh +50 HP and +100NM of torque is easy on the N54 engines.

Id go the mini cat, i have no idea what codes you have as you havent posted any?

F2 contact adhesive Lithium grease or spray for lube works well

I can delete the codes in the ECU so they won't come back, other way is a mini cat extension on the post cat sensor (call red line or check trademe)

You can remove 2nd cats with no issues. The Milltek exhaust for them removes them. Not sure how R34 intake tests are relative to N54 335i intakes?
