Im looking at buying some 15" weaves from Auckland. I'm in Wellington. Any idea how much it would cost to ship? Might end up just driving up to get them but if anyone has any idea would be helpful! Thanks
-
Thats not too bad then. Will look good on them for sure. Im pretty interested in getting some weaves so I might look into it. You might just hear from me again! Anyway keep up the good work, that colour is the best on E30s im my opinion too

Looks good and hat list sure is tasteful. I said the same thing when I bought my E30 but wanting to do a few things with it now! Whats the ride like with the bilstiens? Im also looking for some euroweaves. If you don't mind me asking, what can I excpect to pay if I get them from overseas like you did? Thanks

Dream car right there! Such a deal. GLWS
-
Whats bullshit is that those aren't at my place. Sweet cars!
-
While we're here talking about E30's and their value, is it just me or do they seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper?
-
I put Redline MTL is my getrag 260 recently and it really smoothed my shifts when warm. Pretty expensive though...
-
The insurance company im with valued my car for what I bought it for... so $1500. But I just got a good deal. E30 325i. Too low? I might try grtting someone to value it like Navin did.
-
I think it would look good fitted and maybe colour matched to the car or black maybe. What were you thinking?
-
If it's worth anything, the thermostat in b25 was stuck open and the temp needle would sit a whisker above the blue mark on the gauge. Maybe one stuck closed and the needle will sit at the exact opposite position like yours is? Something like $30 for a new one and was simple enough to do myself. Good luck anyway

Does anybody know if these wheels will fit my stock E30 325i http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=718475080 Seller says they are et40. Would beat my bottlecaps for sure! Thanks
-
Hmmm so nice. Great pics! I need one of these of my own :-)

Welcome! A lot of new memberships recently? Anyway, nice car i think the wheels suit it well + that kit looks good. Any future plans/mods?

On the topic of O2 sensors... my 1987 325i (pfl) doesn't seem to have one at all. Does that sound normal or did they all have them from factory? Thanks
-
Anyone know the size of the bmw badge on the trunk of a pfl (1987) e30 sedan? The one on the bonnet is 82mm but the badge on the trunk seems a little bigger under the tape measure... around 86-87mm. Sound right? Where can I get this bigger size? Thanks
-
Bit late but - did you ever sell these?
-
Basically there are two kinds: basketweaves and bottlecaps
-
sorry - "you could have mine." The wheels on your e21 what style are they?
-
Hmm there's some 4x100's like those on TM. Only difference is an extra $1100 :/ Not really keen on doing a 5 stud conversion though.
-
More of an 'expression of interest' than anything else. I want something to replace my stock bottlecaps and 15inch basketweaves really appeal. Sooo... how much can I expect to pay for these and are they hard to find? Thanks

Weird, bought it at BNT in Wellington. Would have been just before christmas i think

I used Redline MTL for my trans. It was $40 a litre and i got two bottles/litres. still 3/4 left in the second bottle. Yes it's very expensive but it greatly improved my shifting making it feel less notchy/sticky. Anyway, whatever you go with make sure you use a GL-4 oil. And as mentioned, undo the filler plug before undoing the drain plug. I had trouble with the filler plug so I took it to the mechanic. Oh also, both plugs are 17mm hex/allen. that was for my Getrag 260. Not sure if the 240 is the same

Yea it's completely possible. Considered this when buying a new transfer pump. I think brents talking about the chevrolet vega fuel pump as a transfer pump. He's correct too. Thats actually what I bought. Cost me $70 shipped compared to the Oem one ($170). Specs are almost identical. Requires a little basic (real basic) modification

apparently this cop has some problems. Saw him park and everything - there were no other cars parked that aren't there in the photo/he had the opportunity to park in one space. At New World Chafers Park too. I can assure you they weren't grocery shopping either.
