  1. No disrespect intended to Milland... but I did say ^^^ up there.....use genuine gasket set & bolt seal kit, or fit a new rocker cover complete. You also need to make sure CCV valve is operating correctly, along with breather hoses etc
  2. When you do the rocker cover gasket....only use a genuine gasket set, bolt seal kit and sensor flange or it will leak again...... coming from an old prick that doesn't know what he's talking about If it still leaks buy a whole new RC
  3. Speak to Jo Eurosurgeon http://www.eurosurgeon.co.nz/
  4. I'm glad you reminded me Clinton.... I really don't won't to go there, and I don't think I should
  5. The seat type fabric probably won't have the foam backing that you would normally glue the fabric to the roof card. Not sure how you will get round this.
  6. I would suggest getting it scanned first. Can do it tomorrow.... give me a call...
  7. Looks like one of the tips is damaged too. The one on the far right
  8. Great news Marko... and your also getting an expert to do the repair. Daves a great bloke
  9. This is an E60 though... different systems... I didnt read the OP properly myself...just saw M5 and jumped in
  10. From the horses mouth...your car must have an OEM battery fitted. Can only be fitted by the dealer (intelligent systems type battery) and the vehicle & systems have to be told that a new battery is now fitted. Your numbers dont work. The genuine battery for an E60 M5 is $456.41 + Gst
  11. A coupe is quite alot different
  12. The Din 85ZLMF calcium battery is a 158AH 780CCA Yes I know where you live. What I meant was if you need any help feel free to ask. Just check the dimensions. Some of the later cars take a special battery only available from your local stealer. It might help to give me the part # off the battery
  13. The correct battery should cost you around $300 + Gst. It would also be wise to get a battery discharge check on the car... it may have a problem causing the battery to go flat... some electricians may not know the correct proceedure to do this on the car... there is a proceedure on the BMW's and its not a 5min job... I can help if need be. BTW: there is a special charger for a calcium battery.. a standard charger won't do it properly
  14. It would look even better if it was Mtech. I think its a little overpriced, but the Kms are low and the person selling is open to offers
  15. You may have damaged the sensor wiring or unplugged it when you removed the exhaust.
  16. We use Century batteries. However any well branded battery will do the job. As Grant (hotwire) said, only fit a calcium battery. A Din85ZL should be the right battery for your car.
  17. You can do the test without the motor being in the car. Just hook up leads to the starter and activate the starter solenoid. He probably hasn't got a compression tester with a flexible hose on it thats why he said the manifold gets in the way. A cylinder leak test is going to reveal more though. I'd rather be doing any tests on an engine in a car rather than out so I could actually hear it running as well. Too late for that now I spose ?. M30's are prone for cracked heads, cracked blocks and worn camshafts

  20. Try relisting... its not a silly price to ask if your selling the whole kit
  21. Engine design... and the climatic conditions that engine is used determines the correct oil grades to use by any given manufacturer. I'm still waiting for ELF to give me specific info that I will post when I get them. Similar to what Josh has posted. It will cover all lubricants used on BMW's
  22. Give me a call when youve got a few minutes.... mobile or landline Cheers *Glenn*
