Hi there i have found an 1989 325i the problem is that it is deregistered do you know what the processes are to get it back on the road, as well as the costs ? I have searched through and found it will cost around $400 - 500 ( if there is no extra structural costs etc.), yet this was from topics a year or two back. Is anyone going through this now ? and have more recent costs ? Also any recommendations on where to go in East/ South Auckland area? - For re registration checks Thanks Andrew

Okay i just got foglights to cover up the ugly holes, but they do not work grrr ive checked the fuses, and the relay K8 but i do not have a K9 for some reason..? is this normal ? Also is there ment to be a illuminated light where the foglight switches are ? coz mine doesnt have a light grr.. If so how do you chage it ?? Thanks Andrew

I have got a quote from a local mechanic about the installation of the engine $600 plus i can get the engine for pretty cheap too.. it has done about 140ks.. Thanks for the figures

Hey guys Currently my car is a F/L 320i Auto and i have the oppurtunity to purchase a M20b25 from a f/l e30, Would i be able to run my current auto gearbox with this engine ? or upgrade to a 325 auto gearbox? Also would it be advisable to rebuild this engine ? any suggestions of people ? Costs ? i will be doing a manual conversion (when the bank account lets me), but right now im just looking at the m20b25 engine first.. Have You thought of getting the Asus Pro 55 series? I got one from harvey norman for $1799 about a month ago + i upgraded to the 4gb ram for about $100 more, i think. Hey Guys , The light came on in my e46 got it scanned and it said it was the sensor mat in the passengers side.. Is it dangerous to drive with this light on ? could it possibly be able to damage other elctronics? I was quoted around $550 to get this fixed.Is this a fair price ? Or should i just save up for some leather or suede seats ? thanks for the advice Andrew

Ok well i bought my e30 (320 auto) about a year and a bit ago luckily the previuos owner handed me receipts done to the car from 2003 onwards ive counted and it has has over $4000 in repairs and services etc.. My question is my car has now done 201 ks and its last cambelt change was in 2004 when it has done 175 ks, it had new cambelt, tensioners, Ignition timing, cam timing all done..Now in the mornings when i start my car the car sometimes cant hold a steady idle, Ive cleaned AFM ICV removed all little oil particles, Any ideas what it could be?? Also i can hear a belt running loud for a few mins until it gets warm would this be the cambelt? it is more noticable when i shift gears from Park to Drive.. New Cambelt Tme ? Thanks Bimmersporters

Im using it right now, i sync all 3 of my email accounts to my personal gmail, signatures in different colours are very useful to tell the difference between the account emails,just make sure if you do this to set it up so you reply to an email to the address it was sent to,Otherwise it gets confusing.. It seems to work pretty well with my itouch and is a very useful tool
