    M325i vs SR20DET.

I was taking the piss and not wanting to hurt your feelings (although what was said hurts your feelings, then I think you need to harden up). However, take a step back and read what you post sometimes, and maybe you will realise what a "know it all internet car driving set up and driving expert" (i.e. cock) you sound like sometimes. I know that you aren't a cock, so it is unfortunate. BTW, I really enjoyed the video, and look forward to seeing more. Cheers Grant
  2. I know I'll get shot down for this, but in my humble opinion, I think that the Mtech 1 kit has always looked cheap, and a terrible afterthought, especially the side skirts. Mtech 2 looks properly integrated into the overall car, whereas to me the mtech 1 has always had a "ok what can we stick on quickly to make it look sportier" look to it. In fact I'm of that opinion for most of the e30 aftermarket kits as well. But then again I'm turning into a VW/Audi fanboy, so maybe there is just no accounting for taste. Cheers Grant

    M325i vs SR20DET.

I am in awe, I am especially impressed by his trail braking and weight transfer techniques.Cheers Grant
  4. Thats what I got from it.In addition, I take it that the OP has used inferior after market parts, that have been pointed out as being such, and wonders why his car does not behave as one would expect. Cheers Grant

    TiVo with Telecom

Ahhh, just do what I do, I don't even try to understand it, I just embrace and use it and reflect on how much things have progressed in the last few years.Sometimes, ignorance can be bliss. Cheers Grant

    TiVo with Telecom

We have AT&T U-Verse here. Has at least all of the features of TiVo, and is awesome. Nearly every channel is in full HD as well, which is brilliant. TiVo will be great in NZ, a step above the new mysky. Cheers Grant

  8. Yup - Glenn's 3am is my 8am (well at the moment anyway).Cheers Grant
  9. Man you guys have me salivating like Pavlov's dogCheers Grant
  10. I agree. My parents in law have a SAAB 9-5 wagon. It is a great car with a massive amount of room. The 2.3l light pressure turbo engine is also a great little engine. Cheers Grant
  11. Lucky for me I have never, nor will I ever live in South Auckland. I also don't know any NZ gang members (if there are such a thing, where in reaility they are probably just bad imitators of overseas gang culture). Therefore the reputation of these, in my opinion, good solid cars is untarnished. Also I never plan to start choosing what I like or dislike based on a bunch of try-hard gangsters. Cheers Grant
  12. Again, everyone is putting across their opinions as facts. There are several of the cars in that list that I would be perfectly happy to own. Cheers Grant
  13. We have a 3.0l Subaru Outback. It has 152,000 miles on it and it has been by far the most reliable car I have ever had. It drives like it is brand new, and has, in the time we have owned it never had an issue, not even a very small one.I would own another Subaru in an instant, and have a very high respect for them. Cheers Grant
  14. Jolly good. I was trying to wind you up, albeit in a good humoured/harmless way, and I apologise if it was taken out of context.I do think that you are one of the very many good guys (and gals) on here. Cheers Grant
  15. Knickers = twistedYou can calm down now big fella.
  16. Here are the top 10 stolen cars here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32676066/ns/business-autos/ Very boring list!! Cheers Grant
  17. I know..I know.I think that Lion have done a great marketing job with Steinlager Pure. The way that they can charge a premium over even premium beer prices, for a standard mass produced beer and it still flies off the shelf amazes me. Very clever and well played on their part. Anyway - nice looking car Cyrus. Welcome. Cheers Grant
  18. Cool - I stand corrected. I'm not sure why I thought that.

    Brooks Steelies

I opened this thinking that this would be a dogs breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised, I think that it looks good in the black and white theme. Cheers Grant
  20. I am pretty sure that by law you have to indicate as you enter a roundabout, even if you are going "straight", it is just that no-one actually does, and it would have to be a pretty anally retentive cop to pull you over for it. Cheers Grant
  21. Says a guy who likes Steinlager Pure - probably one of the most tasteless beers in existence.
  22. Yes - that puts my dislike of bad coffee to shame!!
  23. Here we go: http://coffeegeek.com/guides http://coffeegeek.com/guides/frothingguide/recipes In the US Flat White's don't exist (I take it that they are a NZ/Australian invention), although if you ask for a short latte (i.e. a latte in an 8oz cup) you will get what we know as a flat white. I went to a coffee cupping event on Saturday afternoon. It was very interesting, and amazing firstly how the coffee from different regions differs in taste, and how the roasting time alters the taste. It was also evident in the cupping blind taste test how terrible the coffee chain stores such as Starbucks are. Amazingly, the roaster who spoke at the event did the cupping blind taste test and recorded his answers and got 7 of the 8 coffees correct, including the roaster of the coffee and the origin of the beans. Therefore, I guess to keep this on topic, I hate it when someone suggests going to get a coffee and they take you to Starbucks...where I just end up having a chocolate frappuccino as the coffee is so bad. Cheers Grant
