Like all models I find reliabilty is a direct correlation of how well they have been serviced throughout their lifetime. A well serviced one is likely to last a lot longer and be less inclined to the aforementioned breakdowns. Also as far as reading the manuals is concerned, I have found that learning on the job seems to work well, and if in doubt have a go anyway - what's the worst that can happen! Cheers Grant

Isn't this advert fairly old? If not I saw one very similar about a year ago. Very funny though! Cheers Grant

I struggled to spot the car in a couple of those pics. You should be in marketing! Cheers Grant

They were an actual (non factory) option for the E30. I used to have a few Bavarian Auto (www.bavauto.com) catalogs and they were available in them. I personally think that they look terrible. Cheers Grant

That was a few years ago now.

Back when I was a Hamiltonian, I used to see a great E30 318is, driven by an old lady, who drove it like she was in a race of some kind. Her plate was "GTNAN" or something similar. Always made me smile. Cheers Grant

Looks nice - thanks for sharing the pics. I'm loving the number of tidy, well modified and good looking E30's around lately. Cheers Grant

Like anything from the Waikato, it is doing all it can to escape, even resorting to putting itself up on Trade Me. Beautiful car though, I like it a lot. Cheers Grant

You do know that if you if you build people's expectations up that something awesome is going to eventuate, that 9 times out of 10 (I made that statistic up, but I think I am close) people will end up disappointed. It's like a movie that everyone goes on about that you have yet to see, you build it up in your head as going to be the best movie you have ever seen, and when you finally see it you are often disappointed. Its not that it is a bad move, it is just you 'over' built it up in your head. Basically what I am saying, that if you have a project just tell evreryone, not only will you get help and support, you will also avoid the "oh is that it, big deal" of building up expectations to a level a lot higher than reality (unless you are actually doing something on an amazing scale, the likes of which the world has not seen before). Thats my advice for the day anyway, take it with a grain of salt. Cheers Grant
