I am selling our Saab 900s, seeing as I have recently bought a 5spd E36 328i to go with our E36 323i. Probably not much interest here, but there's nothing to lose. I am wanting $5,500 for it. What I found interesting today, is that I arranged cover (full insurance) for my 1997 5spd 328i. It is actually slightly cheaper to insure than my 1996 auto 323i. Both cars are unmodified 4 door's. Same company, and both cars are insured for the same amount. What is also interesting is that both BMW's are cheaper to insure (by some margin) than our 1996 Saab 900s (2 litre auto) Cheers Grant

Brook and I have been selling a bits and pieces lately via trade me, and what we do is post the receipt for postage with what we are sending (after getting a quote after the auction has finished), so that people know that they aren't being ripped off, as somethings are damned expensive to send (a case in point recently were some tiles we sold, cost as much to send as the auction). People are normally pretty happy with that. Cheers Grant

I was watching from near the finish line for a while, it was great to see some of the real old timers in action....although I was run quicker than some of them. I think the run of Andrew's I saw was in the low 26's, which seemed like a pretty reasonable run compared with the cars around him. The commentator called him a quick little car anyway. Cheers Grant

Hi All The headliner in my E36 is rather saggy. Because I am lazy I would prefer to just take my saggy one out and replace it with a non-saggy one (rather than muck around stripping off fabric, getting new stuff and reglueing). If anyone by chance has one surplus to requirements, I am keen to buy it. I am keen for one in very good condition with no sagging at all, and also that is still well glued at the windscreen end, and the rear window end (I am aware that they often start peeling away here).
