I don't think the facelifts use two pump setups like the PFL. The PFL uses one pump in the tank, a low pressure one.. and another near the engine somewhere for high pressure.
-
Hell yeah! do want.

I thought this looked pretty good.

I was meaning that, the light functioned properly before the engine swap (came on when key was on, then turned off), if it's the sensor for the cat, I must have broken something.

Which sensor makes the "OVERHEAT" Light function on the check panel? Is it the one directly underneath the fuel rail? I had to replace the one closest to the front to make the temprature gauge work.

I think I might get out the big buffer and give it another few polishes. I thaught about painting it, but I'd rather leave it polished. I'll fit this when I do the tappets tomorrow or something.

I would say the courier has gone a bit silly, as well it's christmas. I ordered a new intake boot a while ago.. was ment to be overnight, took 4 days. Parts guy was pretty upfront about it. apparently the box of parts ended up in the wrong town... apparently Dunedin is Spelt Nelson.

Maybe he has no idea what a compression test actually is? Compression testing is no harder than changing spark plugs.

I want it too. I'm trying to convince my parents to get a newish BMW Diesel. And not be boring conformists and get a low-spec late model jap.

Turbo cars would be as economical (within reason) the turbo cars I have driven, however only one had a boost gauge. you could drive it without making the gauge move into postive boost at all. but, the temptation still lies there to boost away

AA were the most expensive option for me when I was looking for insurance, So I ended up just sticking with AMI. They have allready paid out once for a vehicle of mine (Innocence claim, I was on 3rd party, hit by an uninsured moron) So, Decided to stay with em.

Looks to me like a very well done CarPC setup. basically uses the PC to control amps to run the stereo instead of using a headunit.
